Diamond sees the mobs have gotten out of control.

D-Mac is freaking out now that he knows it was a cop he just killed to protect Tommy. He doesn’t know what to do. Tommy tells him he needs to lay low until he can figure out the next move. As for now, he’s just relieved Diamond was able to dump the body without any problems.

Jenard’s crew tells him they are out of product and no one wants to loan them anything because everyone knows Jenard is in a lot of debt and high all of the time. They don’t want to turn their back on him. But something has to happen soon or they’ll have to look for work elsewhere. Jenard tells them he will figure something out. He just needs them to remain loyal.

While Diamond is in his favorite diner, some men run in shooting and claiming to be RD World, 7-1 T-Block. Diamond is unharmed but other patrons aren’t so lucky. Diamond later tells Tommy these men used to be in Jenard’s crew. But they have now moved on to RD. Diamond reveals CBI and RD used to be one crew. But they split ways when things soured. King Kilo is the leader of the RD gang and he told Diamond all the mobs needed to unite years ago. It may be time to take him up on that idea.

Kate makes things worse.

Vic and Claudia move forward on their plan to kill Walter. He agreed to have dinner with them later that night. However, Vic worries about their plan not working out when he’s picked up by detectives.

AUSA Stacy Marks tells Vic there is evidence he killed a man named Colin Judge and two eyewitnesses have backed this up. So they want to know who was with him that day. Vic refuses to talk and demands his lawyer be contacted. It’s later decided to let him go so he can link back up with Tommy and provide an opening.

After Tommy tells D-Mac to stay in the house, he leaves yet again once Kate gives him a $20 bill to pick up some things from the store. This is so he can see his crush, Genesis. Kate has no idea that D-Mac recently killed a cop and Tommy wants him to stay in the house for protection.

Jenard robs someone he knows named Manny and steals their “keys” to take back to his crew. He lies and says Miguel gave it to him. So the rumors about Miguel not dealing with him anymore aren’t true. When one of his men correctly points out that Jenard is wearing Manny’s chain, he denies that he’s wearing the chain.

Claudia and Vic meet with Doyle to talk about their plan to execute Walter later that night. Red is the man who will do the deed. And it will be done by 9:00 p.m. It’s no turning back now.

Claudia betrays Vic.

Diamond calls King Kilo with Tommy around. He agrees to form a coalition and work together. However, he wants half of the earnings from their prison pipeline. Tommy hangs the phone up. Diamond tells him this is the only way to get things to calm down so they can do business. He also tells Tommy he better do something about D-Mac.

One of the patrons from the diner dies at the hospital during surgery and this makes Mireya realize life is too short to keep wasting her time. She asks her surgeon boyfriend Kendall if he loves her. When he is slow to answer, she says she doesn’t love him either. She ends the relationship as Miguel watches from a distance in anger. He’s there to pick Mireya up from work.

Claudia sleeps with Doyle again and talks about her plans while running the family business. Doyle tells her that those in power will not let her run the family while Vic is still alive. So when she is told to tell Vic to be out of the house before the assassin Big Red shows up since he’s been told to kill everyone in the house, Claudia doesn’t send Vic that text. And he has no idea that Big Red is now coming at 8:30, not 9:00 p.m.

Diamond visits his and Jenard’s father Big Sid while he’s dying in the hospice. They have bad blood because Sid abandoned them when they were little. Diamond tells him he’s happy to see he’s dying. Sid’s emotional reaction leads to the nurses running in to check on his heart rate.

Vic sees the plan through.

When Vic goes to the house, he panics when he sees that Paulie is there with Walter. He calls Claudia to inform her of the problem. And Claudia tells him to try to get Paulie to leave.

Tommy becomes irate when he discovers D-Mac left the house. He tells JP that D-Mac killed a cop. So he has to contact Big Smurf to do him a big favor.

When 9:00 p.m. hits, the Dublin crew makes it to Walter’s house. Walter peeps the security cameras and tells Paulie to grab his gun. They are going to have a shootout.

Vic pulls Paulie aside to ask him why he’s willing to die for Walter despite how badly he’s treated him. Paulie says family looks out for each other no matter what. Paulie ends up being killed by Big Red after he takes out some of his men. However, Walter takes out Red. Vic then pulls a gun out on him and blames him for Gloria and Paulie’s deaths. Walter says he knows it was Claudia who set all this up because Paulie saw her with Doyle. Vic reveals he helped because Walter needed to go. He kills him.

Jenard’s journey into heroin usage worsens after another user teaches him how to use a needle.

Miguel shows up at Kendall’s place with his men and ends his career as a surgeon by crushing his hands with his award.

Tommy sends D-Mac away.

D-Mac makes it to Genesis’ neighborhood, but Smurf and his men kidnap him. She sees this from a distance. Tommy gets a call informing him that the deed was done. Tommy tells JP it’s been handled and he can’t tell Kate about any of this.

Vic makes it Claudia’s place. He questions why no one told him that the hit had been moved up by half an hour. Doyle says he told Claudia and she was supposed to tell Vic. Claudia shoots him in the head and says Doyle lied because he didn’t tell her about the time change. Vic thanks her for saving his life but it’s clear he’s aware Claudia planned for him to be killed as well.

When Sid awakens, he sees Diamond sitting at his bedside. He tells Diamond that leaving them was for the best because he would have ruined him with his love for the streets. Sid also tells Diamond to look out for Jenard because he was never as strong as him. That was their issue. Sid disliked that Diamond never needed him.

Tommy tells Kate that she won’t see D-Mac again because he’s “gone.” Kate takes this to mean Tommy killed him. And JP allowed this. She breaks down in tears.

Vic makes a bold choice.

Jenard finally makes it to the hospice to see Big Sid but Diamond tells him he died. Jenard becomes emotional. He questions why they let things get so ugly between them. Diamond says they have to do better. So he’s allowed back into CBI.

While looking at a photo of D-Mac, Kate breaks down and does a line of coke.

D-Mac’s blindfold is taken off and he sees he has been dropped off at Great Shores Youth Academy. Smurf hands D-Mac the phone to speak to Tommy. Tommy tells D-Mac he’s doing this to protect him. When it seems like things have cooled down, he’ll send for D-Mac. D-Mac is not happy about any of this.

Vic meets with Stacy. He is ready to give up Claudia since she tried to have him killed. But he wants full immunity. Stacy says she will only give him immunity if he infiltrates CBI and Tommy Egan. He agrees to these terms.
