Can Jennifer and Evelyn move forward?
Jackie meets up with the new basketball wife, Vanessa, at her place. She is married to former NBA player Isaiah Rider. She tries to fix up some healthy snack alternatives for Jackie that cut out sugar and alcohol. Jackie is struggling to transition into a much healthier lifestyle and Vanessa’s passion is fitness.
Evelyn is back. Since her time away from the show, she’s met a man named Lavon and fallen in love. They met on a dating show called “Queens Court.” Evelyn really likes Lavon because he’s really different from her exes. And he’s a really nice guy.
While talking to Shaniece, Evelyn says she knows she needs to move forward with Jennifer. She just isn’t sure Jennifer told the truth when she denied talking about Shaniece when they weren’t on good terms.
Shaniece becomes emotional because she still receives messy social media comments about the situation. She doesn’t feel like it’s fair she was dragged into drama and accused of things she never said or did. Evelyn agrees.
Evelyn can be cordial to Jennifer.
Vanessa and Jackie go out for a bite to eat. They talk about their experiences as basketball wives. Vanessa says her husband cheated on her during the pandemic. She caught him by placing cameras everywhere and bugging his car. Vanessa brags about running the woman out of town and into witness protection.
Jennifer and her boo Christian talk about the girls and all of the drama in the group. She’s open to seeing Evelyn again but doesn’t know how that will go. And despite her recent blowup with Jackie, she’s willing to move on even if they will never be close again.
Jackie and Evelyn have lunch. Evelyn tells Jackie she doesn’t have any problems with Jennifer. So she will be cordial when she sees Jennifer at her welcome-back party. Jackie says she doesn’t have a problem with Brooke or Jennifer. But she’s not so sure they feel the same way at this point. Vanessa is discussed. Apparently, she is cool with Carl’s first baby momma Amy. Amy and Evelyn get along very well and co-parent with no issues. This is why Evelyn is open to meeting Vanessa.
Evelyn and Vanessa have a heated exchange.
When Jennifer and Vanessa meet, Vanessa says she has beef with Evelyn because she got with Carl while he was in a 12-year relationship with Amy. She has a problem with women who pursue men in relationships. And she is loyal to her friends to a fault sometimes. So she will confront Evelyn when they meet. Jennifer later tells Brooke what Vanessa told her.
Evelyn’s welcome party is the place to be. Jac’eil joins the cast and says hello to the ladies. She is engaged to Natasha Howard, a WNBA player. Brittany joins as well, and she says she has been having a nasty co-parenting relationship with NBA player, PJ Washington.
Brooke tells Evelyn what Vanessa told Jackie. Evelyn doesn’t waste any time pulling Vanessa aside to set things straight. Vanessa accuses Evelyn of getting with Carl while Amy was pregnant. Evelyn says Carl told her they weren’t together although she was with child. And it’s not her fault Carl wasn’t honest. But none of this matters because they are all in a good place now. The drama happened 10 years ago. Evelyn accuses Vanessa of being “embarrassing” for bringing any of this up.

Jennifer……. how is she gonna ask that lady what the tea is on Evelyn then in the interview say….I don’t know why she’s telling me all this stuff about Evelyn….it don’t have anything to do with me …I really really can’t stand her. Her relationship won’t last with this one either
