Melody Shari’s decision to drop Holt as a last name offended Martell Holt.
“Love & Marriage: Huntsville” star Martell Holt said it was disrespectful for Melody Shari to have a name-changing ceremony. As we reported, Melody has decided to drop Holt as her last name. Originally, she planned to remain a Holt since her children have the last name. However, ongoing drama since their divorce made Melody realize she no longer needed to hold on to Holt. So she wanted to celebrate going back to her maiden name and begin a new chapter to focus on her own legacy. Regardless, Martell saw Melody’s choice as a personal attack on him. So he told Nell Fletcher that he would be judging his friends for attending the event. This resulted in Nell and Martell clashing. At one point, Nell told Martell that she tried to tell him to clean up his act. But he didn’t listen and that is why Melody left him.
After Martell and Nell’s blowup, Nell told Chris that Fletcher that Martell was combative with her. When Chris attempted to bring this to Martell, Martell said Nell was disrespectful. So he had every right to handle the situation the way he did. When Chris asked Martell if it was more so that Nell said the truth and it was upsetting, Martell denied that this was the case.
Chris Fletcher gets under Martell Holt’s skin on the next episode of LAMH.
Well, it looks as if Chris will throw some shade at Martell on the upcoming episode of “Love & Marriage: Huntsville.” In the trailer, Nell and Chris tell the cast they are all going to Houston for some fun. Marsau Scott thinks the fellas could have even more fun if they let their wives do their own thing.
“If we keep the men and the women separate, we’re gonna have fun.”
Martell responds, “Well, I ain’t got no woman so ****.”
And Chris throws a jab,
“Not only do you not got no woman, she ain’t even got your name no more.”
To no surprise, Martell isn’t feeling this, “You see what I’m saying? I don’t support all that dumb ****.”
In another interesting scene, LaTisha tells Marsau she had to take a pregnancy test recently. He then says, “If you got pregnant, my first thought would not be the vasectomy didn’t work.”
LaTisha asks, “What would it be?”
Marsau answers, “Get a ******* blood test.”
