Stormi hosts a fish fry to bring Betty and Lisa together.
The episode begins with Courtney and Stormi riding their motorcycles, heading to lunch. When they arrive at lunch, Stormi tells Courtney about Bringing her mom and aunt back together for another talk. She’s inspired by the trip to Houston. So, she’s going to plan a family fish fry in Mississippi.
Meanwhile, Chris and Nell are hosting a charity event at their daycare. Melody stops by and they recap the Houston trip. Melody thanks them for the peaceful trip and lets them know Martell wants to talk. She’s hesitant to accept the invite but is considering it.
The next day, Stormi is with her cousin Butter. They’re on the way to the fish fry and Stormi is venting about her mom Betty and her Aunt. She hopes this event allows them to hash things out. But Stormi understands the long-standing tension between them that goes back to their childhood.
Eventually, they make it to the fish fry, and many of her aunts and uncles, along with her Grandmother. This is the first fish fry she hosted and she hopes this brings everyone back together. Betty and Aunt Lisa aren’t talking immediately. So, Stormi pulls them aside out of view of Stormi’s grandmother. But when rain begins, they pack everything up and head to another facility.
When they head to the backup facility, Betty asks Lisa for more time to help them look after their mom. But this leads to a tense conversation between them because Lisa feels she doesn’t have the time to help. Stormi gets them to calm down and talk things out. Eventually, Lisa leaves without hugging Betty, something Stormi tries her best to have happen.
Martell gets called out by Melody for gaslighting.
Melody did accept Martell’s invitation and meets him at a restaurant for a talk. Martell presents Melody with flowers and she calls them inappropriate, especially since she’s dating. Martell apologizes for his behavior during the marriage and her not feeling protected. But Melody feels completely gaslit by all of this. She tells him that they don’t talk unless it’s about the kids.
Melody completely disagrees with Martell about them being in a good place and mentions Martell’s actions in Houston. Melody tells Martell that they’ll never be in a place of peace, referring to the things he’s done “behind the scenes.”
She also brings up the controversies on social media about threats of releasing intimate videos of her. To make things worse, Martell denies saying Melody went to hotels to cheat, contradicting what he said in last week’s episode.
Melody then asks Martell why he’s wearing his 2008 wedding band and Martell says he’s manifesting, calling their marriage very successful. When Melody says she’s ready to go, Martell calls her difficult.
Kimmi presents Maurice with a gift.
The next day, Kimmi and Maurice are arriving at the hotel for a special date night. Their hotel suite is decorated by Kimmi with rose petals and candles on the floor and bed. During their date, Kimmi gets emotional as she speaks about how she lost her hair during the chemotherapy. She mentions how she saw comments on social media referring to her looks.
To lighten the mood, Kimmi reveals she had a boudoir photoshoot and shows Maurice a framed photo from the shoot. Maurice is very happy about this and then shows drawn-on abs on his stomach. To end the date, Kimmi changes into the lingerie she wore in the photo shoot.
LaTisha and Marsau gaslight each other.
Lastly, LaTisha stops by their home, which is a construction site and she’s ready to put her foot down regarding deadlines. She wants their current house completed by the time school starts for their kids. But despite this, Marsau mentions all of the other projects they have currently, including her office. When he takes a jab at LaTisha involving Canvas Beauty’s privacy policy, she gets even angrier.
The conversation then turns to the vasectomy and Marsau asks LaTisha if she ever stepped out on him. LaTisha refuses to answer and Marsau feels gaslit. LaTisha walks out and Marsau gets on his phone.

Agreed, he wanted Coleslaw for 5 years and now that he can have her in the open, he wants Mel back. I really think he thought that Mel would just stay and put up with him cheating and having a new baby with Coleslaw and when she did not, his ego was crushed. The girl took back her maiden name for Gods sake, she does not want him but he does not seem to get it.
Martell is the King Kong of fools on reality TV. Not only does he cheat on his wife he doubles up in dumb Ness and gets the other woman…..pregnant. This plays out on nation wide TV. Melody simply could not afford to love or stay in this one sided marriage. She methodically planned her exit and landed on her feet. It was always evident she was the brains in this operation. He’s the proverbial penid head with plastic balls and no moral character. Shut up and sit down

He chooses to be portrayed as DUMB. On the las show before the reunion he told Mel he did not know the damage he created by cheating. Duh 🙄 s that not the dumbest thing a man can say after cheating and having a baby outside a marriage 🙄 🫤🙄 He needs a real mental health checkup.
