Ashley Darby’s friend is being blamed for the latest RHOP altercation.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” stars Ashley Darby and Gizelle Bryant celebrated the launch of their new athleisure line during the latest episode. GNA designs were shown off during a fashion show. It was a stressful time for Gizelle. She was also dealing with her father’s hospitalization. Gizelle was flying back and forth from DC to Atlanta. Robyn Dixon said Gizelle’s father had been diagnosed with brain cancer. He had gotten really sick. Gizelle struggled to discuss her father’s declining health in a green screen interview, which prompted the revelation made by Robyn. Gizelle was grateful Ashley stepped up for their business. So GNA moved forward during a difficult time in her life.
The touching moment for Ashley and Gizelle’s friendship didn’t prevent the chaos that followed that night. After Ashley and Gizelle thanked the guests for attending, Gizelle said she was leaving to go back to her father. Ashley stayed to continue the party. Earlier, Ashley’s friend Deborah Williams made her presence known. She spoke to Wendy Osefo and Nneka Ihim. Considering the past accusations Deborah made, Wendy thought it was messy for Ashley to invite her.
After the camera crew left (the cast was still mic’d), Deborah confronted Candiace Dillard-Bassett. She was upset that Candiace nicknamed her Sesame Street last season. The shady moniker was one fans didn’t mind repeating on social media.
Candiace refused to talk to Deborah. Her friend Keiarna Stewart intervened. This eventually turned into an altercation. And the moment became a headline all over the internet.
Wendy Osefo shared her thoughts on WWHL.
Wendy was asked about Keiarna and Deborah’s altercation on “Watch What Happens Live.”
Andy Cohen asked, “We didn’t really get to see what happened. We heard audio. Is there a way to explain what happened or who you think maybe was at fault here?”
Wendy answered, “So Deborah was a thousand percent at fault. She came over looking for trouble. Threw a drink and then all **** broke loose. So yeah.”
They’ll still try to place the blame on Candiace.
Wendy looks good on here but seems like her look is morphing into Quad.
I think it was really telling that this happened after Ashley asked if the camera crew was leaving and Deborah didn’t think to do this until then.
