Robyn Dixon is allegedly leaving “The Real Housewives of Potomac” after 8 seasons.
Fresh off Candiace Dillard Bassett’s announcement, another longtime “The Real Housewives of Potomac” cast member is allegedly leaving the show.
Sources reveal to The Jasmine Brand that she will not return for season 9. According to The Jasmine Brand, Robyn could return in later seasons.
This news comes out as the RHOP reunion premieres this Sunday. During the reunion, Robyn and Candiace clash once more. During the reunion taping, Robyn brings up the now-debunked cheating allegations against Candice’s Chris Bassett cheating allegations. Robyn asks if Candiace is sure the photo of Chris’ “limp *****” was photoshopped.
Candiace Dillard Bassett and Robyn Dixon clashed frequently on camera.
Candiace and Robyn were friendly when Candiace first joined the show. But the ladies clashed throughout Candiace’s six seasons on the show. This tension escalated when Gizelle Bryant accused Candiace of harassing her in her hotel room. Robyn stood by Gizelle, but this ultimately ended her friendship with Candiace.
Candiace and Robyn’s feud continued into season 8, during which the ladies had continuous spats on camera.
Robyn’s relationship with Juan Dixon was very strained.
Robyn also dealt with controversies surrounding herself and Juan Dixon during her time on RHOP. Famously, she spoke out against having to speak out about Juan’s alleged infidelity in front of cameras. Juan also spoke out against Robyn to producers during earlier seasons. He told producers that if it weren’t for his sons, he would’ve left Robyn officially.
Robyn was forced to address this on “Watch What Happens Live” where Andy Cohen grilled her about the allegations.
Despite this, the previously divorced couple decided to re-marry at the end of season 7 in a destination wedding.
To date, neither Bravo nor RHOP Producers have spoken about Candiace, Robyn, or any other RHOP casting updates for season 9.
I hope this is true because she brings nothing to the show.
