Stacey Rusch puts her grievances with Ashley Darby out in the open.
The ladies are on their first group trip during the upcoming episode of “The Real Housewives of Potomac.” During this trip, they bond during a boat ride. During the ride, Stacey Rusch explains why she called Ashley Darby messy.
“I never thought I would go through a divorce; I thought I would be married forever. I have a man who loves me, but I can’t even start that relationship with him because I’m not done with my marriage.”
A flashback scene of Stacey working out with her best friend TJ is played. Stacey asks TJ what he feels about “being here,” referring to their budding relationship. TJ tells Stacey the most challenging thing about their situation is her absence.
Back on the boat, Stacey continues to express her grievance with Ashley.
“In the way you spoke of him in that manner, I just felt you took someone special and reduced it.”
Stacey Rusch calls out Ashley Darby for putting her bunion on her countertops.
Despite that grievance, Stacey apologizes for her response to Ashley. Gizelle jumps in and asks if Stacey harping on Ashley being messy got to Ashley herself. Ashley says Stacey didn’t know her then, and she shouldn’t have had that opinion. Stacey retorts that Ashley spent hours at her home. Ashley seemingly got very comfortable around Stacey.
Stacey says, “But you also spent hours at my house. Then you came back over to my house and put your bunion on my marble countertops.”
Producers then play a clip of Ashley doing just that. She put her foot on the countertop with her wedge heel, pointing to her bunion. Ashley looks embarrassed.
Meanwhile, Ashley says in her green screen that she understands Stacey’s position regarding the divorce.
“She doesn’t want her ex-husband to hear about this new best friend, whatever you want to call him. But I’m telling you from experience, it will eat you up from inside! It’s not fun for anybody.”
Lastly, Stacey gives details to the women, shocking them all when she tells them she and TJ aren’t intimate with each other. It’s been a year for her, and TJ is a devout Christian.
