Fans didn’t care for Quad Webb being iced out of “Married to Medicine.”
Quad Webb‘s fans were not here for how she was treated during the previous season of “Married to Medicine.” Dr. Simone Whitmore and the others questioned Quad’s role in the group. They didn’t feel like Quad spent enough time around them to be considered friends. Dr. Heavenly Kimes even alleged that Quad only comes around when it’s time to film the show. This is an opinion Dr. Jackie Walters also shares. Heavenly also said that Jackie told her that she thinks Quad uses Heavenly to hold on to her position on the show. At the height of the drama, Quad was asked to leave the girls’ trip. While Quad did apologize to the group at the reunion, it was clear that her friendships were still in a delicate place. This is where “Married to Medicine” picks up during the Season 11 premiere.
In the previews, Simone and Cecil Whitmore are planning a celebration for their 35th homecoming. To celebrate graduating from Morehouse and Spelman 35 years ago, the couple will host “Whitnik.” It’s their take on Freaknik. Simone tells Cecil that she will invite the girls she has a relationship with. When he brings up Quad, Simone says she doesn’t talk to Quad. She thought they agreed to move forward at the reunion. However, she noticed that Quad agreed with fans on social media who were critical of Simone’s comments at the reunion. Quad has seemingly cooled off on the friendship since.
Cecil is annoyed by Simone’s lack of interest in inviting Quad to Whitnik.
Meanwhile, Heavenly apologizes to Quad for how things unfolded last season. She now feels like Quad was mistreated and didn’t deserve to be iced out.
Cecil may have similar thoughts since he seemingly invited Quad to Whitnik behind Simone’s back. So when Quad makes a grand entrance, Simone doesn’t hide her annoyance.
Season 11 of “Married to Medicine” premieres Sunday, November 24 at 9 pm on Bravo.
