Jennifer Willams fell out with Evelyn Lozada over her criticisms of Christian Gold.
Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams‘ fallout has taken centerstage during the latest season of “Basketball Wives.” Jennifer wanted to move on from the friendship after audio of Evelyn discussing Christian Gold with a private investigator was played during the reunion. Eyebrows have been raised about the romance due to Christian’s legal issues. Evelyn said everything also hit close to home because she knows one of his alleged victims. In response, Christian denied scamming Carl Crawford’s cousin out of $1500. It’s been a mess between Jennifer and Evelyn since. At the height of their feud, Jennifer brought up Shaniece Hairston. It is unlikely that they will ever be on good terms again.
Jennifer took more shots at Evelyn during the most recent episode. When she discussed Brandi Maxiell saying Ty Young was cute, she said she thought Evelyn would be the one to move from the NBA to the WNBA. She also said that Evelyn wasn’t qualified to speak on anyone’s marriage because she’s never had a successful one.
Jennifer brought the shade to Instagram the other day by congratulating Evelyn’s former fiance Lavon Lewis on his engagement. She concluded the post with a #dodgedabullet hashtag.
The beef has made its way to social media.
Evelyn clapped back at Jennifer on X.
She said, “Yeah, I may have been married for a short time, but I loved the stepkids God placed in my life. Where are yours? While you were out chomping on lab-made carats, his kids, ages 3 and 4, were living in an Airbnb. You’re right, we’re not the same, and we never will be. You’re a bum in real life, not just on TV.”
Evelyn added, “Jen, since you want to ‘Chomp Chomp’ your man’s step kids would like to eat too! Have you checked on them? Given them a bath? Cooked for them? Read them a bedtime story? Didn’t think so. You’re a bum in real life, not just on screen.”
She brought up Christian’s child support case.
“Since you want to bring up my ex, let’s talk about your man’s ex… she’s still waiting on her child support. Your man has court in Cobb County on 6/4, he’s already skipped two hearings.”
