In the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” Stacey remains firmly in the hot seat as the accusations and rumors continue. Here are the highlights for “Mint to be Shady.”
Stacey is feeling the pressure.
The episode begins at the conclusion of Ashley and Stacey’s conversation. Stacey’s friend AJ thinks Ashley is doing too much. Regardless, Ashley insists that Stacey came into the group telling many lies. And she’s not sure Stacey ever got a divorce.
Meanwhile, Keiarna and Wendy’s conversation about their friendship doesn’t seem to go anywhere. Although Wendy apologized for making Keiarna feel slighted at a past event, Keiarna still thinks Wendy is being dismissive.
When Ashley and Stacey make their way back to the rest of the group, Ashley brings up that Keiarna told them Stacey said she would never let them see the real her. Stacey feels Keiarna always comes from a place of aggression when they interact. Tia and Angel step in to defend Keiarna and tell Stacey that Keiarna isn’t a negative person.
During a green screen interview, Stacey says she doesn’t understand why she is being piled on.

Wendy receives confirmation of Happy Eddie’s new competitor.
Stacey visits Wendy at her home. They start their conversation by discussing Ashley. Stacey thinks Ashley is being extreme. When she confirms she has reconciled with her husband, Wendy is visibly irritated. She tells Stacey the timing is very convenient. It just seems like Stacey is being strategic because the others are beginning to question her.
They move on to the accusations Gizelle made at the previous reunion. Stacey says Gizelle wasn’t exactly right, but she is in the process of starting her own cannabis brand.
Wendy wishes Stacey the best but believes Gizelle didn’t lie at all.

Keiarna has tension with Angel.
Gizelle spends some time with Tia and her family. Tia was born in Nigeria but grew up in England. She has four children with her husband, Rob. He does sales and acquisitions for a “massive aeronautical company.” She is a “global real estate advisor” because she wanted her children to see her working despite having a posh childhood.

Angel and her husband Bobby grab a bite to eat. She tells him she is still getting adjusted to being around the group. She will host an event soon, and she has no plans to be hazed in.

Gizelle and Keiarna catch up. Keiarna tells Gizelle that she had to “chin check” Angel recently because she seemed to be defending Wendy. Keiarna was updating Ashley, Angel, and Tia about her tension with Wendy. She explained that Wendy showed up to an event she wasn’t sure she was attending because one of her kids was sick.
Angel’s response was to ask Keiarna if she had asked Wendy if the child was okay. Keiarna answered no and proceeded to call out Angel for asking and supposedly defending Wendy.
Ashley backs off…for now.
It’s the day of Angel’s get-together. Gizelle asks Wendy and Keiarna if they are okay, and both say they are in a cordial place. In a confessional, Wendy says she is at peace, but Keiarna is “in pieces.” It’s a one-sided issue as far as Wendy is concerned.
Gizelle then asks if Keiarna and Angel are good. Keiarna told her she had to “chin check” Angel recently. Angel is taken aback by this and answers that she does the chin checking, but they don’t do that in their friendship. Keiarna doesn’t recall using the words “chin check” but apologizes anyway.
When Stacey arrives a little late, it is pointed out that Angel left out a bowl full of mints. Stacey catches on to the shade but refuses to get upset. In a confessional, she tells producers that she usually gets it worse from this group, so the mints weren’t hard to handle.

Stacey takes a moment to show Ashley a copy of the document she received confirming her divorce had been finalized. Gizelle thinks the document is fake, but Ashley is satisfied with the receipt.

Did Stacey try to hook up with Chris Samuels?
Keiarna, Gizelle, and Ashley meet Karen’s friend Cookie for brunch. Cookie tells them that Karen is in good spirits despite being locked up. She’s been reading a lot of books and working out. An early release is likely.
After Cookie says she just received a text message from Chris Samuels, Ashley says she was told that Stacey was trying to get with Chris. Apparently, one of her friends recently told her that Stacey asked her to hook them up. She introduced them.
Ashley thinks this likely occurred before Stacey reconciled with her husband. The episode ends with producers flashing sneak peeks of Monique returning to the show and confronting Stacey.
