In the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Pinky tells Derrick she is filing for bankruptcy. Shamea and Phaedra have tension over past words. Here are the highlights for “Where’s the Beef…and the Budget?”
The game of telephone continues.
Kelli visits Pinky at Slutty Vegan. Pinky1 tells Kelli she is in the process of filing for bankruptcy, but she hasn’t told her husband, Derrick, yet. Kelli understands because she is also considering doing the same. Both women have accumulated a lot of debt because they put a lot of things in their names.
After Pinky says she has been vegan since 2007, she goes on to say that Phaedra has been telling people she eats meat. However, producers show that Kelli and Shamea made these accusations.

Pinky has a community service event at one of her restaurants. She invites the other women to come out to support. It is here that Phaedra attempts to clear her name. She denies telling Shamea that Pinky secretly eats meat despite owning a successful vegan restaurant chain. Producers show footage of Phaedra telling Shamea that Pinky used to own a Jamaican restaurant and sold meat.
Phaedra accuses Shamea of twisting her words because she doesn’t like her. In response, Shamea denies disliking Phaedra. She apologizes for getting the story wrong. Phaedra says Shamea also made shady comments about her sons. Producers show footage of Shamea doing an interview. After she is asked who she would make a godmother of her daughters, Shamea answered Cynthia over Phaedra. She said Cynthia raised Noelle to be very articulate. Phaedra took this a shade.
Shamea denies intentionally shading Phaedra’s son and apologizes for making Phaedra feel that way. In a confessional, Phaedra says she will now keep both eyes on Shamea since she likes to twist her words.
Porsha isn’t here for Dennis’ opinions about her dating life.
Dennis goes over to Porsha’s home to meet with Torin. He is going to help them launch a YouTube channel for their daughter, Pilar. However, Porsha begins to reconsider doing business with Dennis when he reveals he used to live in the same building as Mike, the man Porsha is currently dating.
Dennis accuses Porsha of not making good dating choices and suggests she take a break from dating for six months.
Derrick is determined to support his wife.
Pinky and Derrick go for a stroll. Derrick wants to support Pinky as she navigates cleaning up her business. After she tells him she is planning to file for bankruptcy, he offers to pay off her $5 million debt. Pinky becomes emotional, as she doesn’t want him to risk his success to help her. Regardless, Derrick lets her know that it is his duty to be there for her when she needs him. And they will clean up Slutty Vegan together.
