In the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Phaedra’s birthday trip to Scotland spirals after Porsha and Shamea clash over their former friendship. Explosive accusations are made. Here are the highlights for “Highland Games and Explosive Claims.”
Fun is had in Scotland.
The ladies play a game of tug of war to celebrate their arrival to Scotland for Phaedra’s birthday. Porsha, Angela, Drew, and Pinky are on one team. Kelli, Cynthia, Shamea, and Phaedra on the other team. Porsha’s team is victorious and the ladies get a kick out of seeing Kelli being dragged on the ground with her feet up in the air.
Shamea isn’t feeling Kelli and Porsha’s friendliness.
After a game of tug of war, the women try traditional Scottish foods. Porsha asks Kelli how she’s feeling after a tough morning thanks to her ex’s interview. Kelli is feeling better and thanks the group for their support. Porsha says she is glad that she and Kelli had a breakthrough. In a green screen interview, Shamea questions why Porsha was able to forgive Kelli but not her.
Pinky and K. Michelle talk about Shamea.
Shamea calls her mother, Sarah, to vent about her issues with the group and how she feels like she is always getting ganged up on. Meanwhile, Pinky and K. Michelle discuss Shamea. K. Michelle takes issue with Shamea recently saying that the only real friend she has in the group is Kelli. K. Michelle feels like she’s been supportive of Shamea, but Shamea is becoming a monster.
Both think she could be dealing with something deeper that she hasn’t shared.
Shamea and Porsha clash.
While everyone is eating, Shamea confronts Porsha about what Dennis recently told her. He said Porsha doesn’t feel comfortable with their daughters playing together since they are no longer on good terms. Shamea says this was hurtful because she thought they wouldn’t allow their issues to impact their children. Regardless, Porsha doesn’t feel comfortable with her child being with someone who doesn’t like her. And the only person she can have a bad disagreement with and not impact Pilar the same way is her sister Lauren, because they are family.
In response, Shamea reminds Porsha that she used to see her as family. Porsha says she no longer does after things went down the way they did last year.
Shamea then says that Porsha didn’t really want her to be on RHOA because she worried it would hurt their friendship. Porsha denies ever saying this and brings up Andy Cohen confirming that Porsha asked for Shamea to become a housewife at the last reunion.
Shamea takes it there.
Their mothers become a topic yet again. Shamea accuses Porsha’s mother of trying to sleep with her father. In response, Porsha denies this and says that her mother was dating Shamea’s uncle and that Shamea’s mother slept with him. Shamea asks Porsha which uncle she is referring to.
In a confessional, Phaedra says this wasn’t the right response from Shamea. Instead, Shamea should have denied that her mother slept with her uncle, not ask which uncle.
Porsha tells producers that it seems like all of this was premeditated and Shamea wanted to trigger her.
Porsha is done.
Shamea dismisses herself from the table, and Kelli follows behind her. In a confessional, Shamea says she loves Porsha, but the love probably would only have been reciprocated if she were just a friend on the show. Back at the table, Porsha calls Shamea a snake, and she believes Shamea’s intent was to get an explosive reaction. She feels validated about not wanting her daughter over at Shamea’s house because Shamea seems to have a lot of vitriol for her.
Porsha tells the others she can see the hate Shamea has in her eyes. There is no path forward.
K. Michelle understands Shamea has to be held accountable, but she doesn’t want anyone to feel like they are getting ganged up on. But it does seem like Shamea has been dealing with something heavy that has made her more confrontational lately.
Shamea breaks down in the van, and Kelli consoles her as it becomes clear that she and Porsha just went somewhere they can’t come back from.
