Kelli Potter’s fellow Atlanta housewives respond to her saying she set the standard.

Kelli Potter recently did an interview with Carlos King to discuss the drama surrounding the current season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” She feels like Shamea Morton isn’t getting a fair shake with the group. However, Angela Oakley and Porsha Williams think Shamea likes to start drama and then play the victim when people respond to her actions.

Regardless, Kelli told Carlos that Shamea was provoked when she came for Porsha’s mother.

Another controversial part of the interview was when Kelli said that she set the standard for the other housewives.

“There was nothing from Atlanta housewives that I wanted. It was no person. It was no thing. There was no relationship that I had fantasized about, that I would want my life to look like. That’s not my thing. I’ve had all of those things; I’ve really had all of those things: the homes, the cars, the money. I’ve had all of it. It was nothing that anyone on this show could do to impress me.”

She continued, “I mean, if you look at it, I came in my first season and really set the standard for a lot of these ladies.”

Carlos then asked, “In what way?!”

Kelli answered, “When it comes to fashion, when it comes to content. They weren’t doing content in Season 16. Nobody had their own videographer and photographer. Elliot and I have been working together for eight years prior to me even filming. When it came to events, I always did events. You can look back on my page. I didn’t host an event in Williams Sonoma because of being on this show. No, I’ve hosted several events with Williams Sonoma prior to being on this show.”

She added, “When it comes to Balmain, I hosted a birthday party in Balmain. Shut down the store. These women can’t do that because they really don’t shop in the stores.”

To no surprise, some of the other housewives had something to say in response.
