Kanye Gets Called Out and Dragged For Stealing Ad-Libs For Cruel Summer Album

By A.J. Niles

Roscoe Dash apparently felt today was a good day for him to head to Twitter to air out his grievances with rappers Kanye West and Wale. Roscoe Dash, who has had his fair share of grievances with other artist, most notably with the rap group Travis Porter .

When Roscoe Dash was beefing with the rap group Travis Porter, it was over the song “All The Way Turnt Up.” Although Roscoe Dash claimed the song was his and he asked Travis Porter to join him on he song, the group used the song for their mixtapes and failed to give Roscoe credit for not only writing the hook but allowed people to assume he was apart of the group. “All The Way Turnt Up” was a song that propelled Travis Porter to some popularity in 2009. Roscoe Dash seemed to resolve the issue when he re-recorded the song with a similar beat and was joined by Soulja Boy.

Now Roscoe Dash is not happy that he did not receive any credit for any of his work on songs from G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer and Wale’s Ambition albums.

Roscoe’s anger from not receiving this credit is evident from the first post:

Read from the bottom, up.

Kanye West has not yet responded to Roscoe’s rant and Wale simply dismissed him on Twitter. Miguel, on the other hand decided to throw shade of his own at Roscoe Dash, calling his claims “retarded”

“As far as I know, Wale and another artist that I recently met penned the original ‘Lotus Flower Bomb’ chorus and I came in and added the second half or the end part…I’m not going to explain myself, this is retarded,” Miguel told Lauren Nostro .
“I don’t know anything about Roscoe Dash. At the end of the day, I know my involvement in the song and as far as I know, Wale and I, and this other guy, wrote the chorus. The other guy was an alternative artist. If he wrote a part of it, he should get credit for it, but as far as I know, the people who deserve credit on the song are listed. Twitter is not the place to handle business.”

Roscoe Dash did not take these comments lightly.

  1. Roscoe Dash is always getting crapped on by other rappers. He needs better management. He can’t be mad at nobody but himself for not handling his business.

  2. The music industry is a cut throat business. Even your friends will steal from you. He needs to get smarter about working with other artists.

  3. All these men are acting like females. If they stole from Roscoe Dash, he needs to get on the phone and start filing suits. Don’t tweet a damn thing. And Miguel and Wale need to have several seats. The man deserves his credit and to be paid.

  4. Is Miguel really going to act all brand new and talk about how to handle business? Perhaps he should question if he handled business the right way when he taunted men for sitting at the front row of his concert.

  5. I feel his pain, but he shouldn’t have handled this on Twitter. Call your lawyer and tell them to get on the job. That’s the only way they’ll take you seriously. Tweets can be ignored.

  6. I believe him. If people did their research, they would know that Kanye does this kind of stuff all the time. He doesn’t like to give credit to the real producers and writers to his albums because he thinks it will make people realize he’s not as talented as they think he is. Everyone in the business knows that Kanye’s only talent is knowing how to put things together. That’s it. As far as producing, making beats, and writing…he has to get real talent to do those things. He only pulled one on Roscoe Dash because everyone else has. He needs a better lawyer.
