Singer Alicia Keys has had an amazing music career so far that has amassed millions of albums sold. Known for her piano skills and heartfelt love songs, the singer has no problems holding on to her solid fan base. Although Alicia is another celebrity who does a pretty great job at keeping her personal life private, controversy surrounding her relationship with producer Swizz Beatz changed things. Swizz Beatz’s ex-wife Mashonda claims that Alicia’s romantic relationship with the producer started while they were married. While Alicia denies the allegations and claims their romance began while he was separated, Mashonda still stands by her claims. Alicia Keys still has a solid career despite the controversy, but it’s been confirmed that her latest album Girl on Fire has given the singer her lowest first week album sales ever in her career. And many speculate that Mashonda’s claims could have something to do with it.
According to the latest gossip, Alicia and her camp have a plan to boost album sales. With the recent response to sultry GQ covers from Rihanna and Beyonce, it’s being speculated that Alicia Keys will be the next songstress to be featured on the cover of the men’s magazine.
AllHipHop reports that Alicia and her team are hoping a sexy magazine cover could bump up her album sales.

“Rumors are swirling that in a few months Alicia Keys will be the next hot black chick to do the GQ cover. GQ has been able to garner a lot of attention on their female a$$ covers. They look more like Playboy than a men’s mag. And so, there you have it. Ms. Keys is reportedly looking for a bump with her album that is really good. But King Bey is coming on strong. Alicia has been sexy in the past, but I guess everybody has to step their game up.”

So she’s desperate? Makes sense. She’s a pretty woman but she’s not sexy in the least bit. She always looks so uncomfortable when she tries to look sexy.

When all else fails, GET NAKED FOR GQ!!! LOL, j/k. If she does it, she needs to make it classy and not go the Rihanna route. Rihanna’s was very risky, Bey’s was sexy/classy. That’s what Alicia needs to do.
It’s not really the whole Mashonda thing..since she’s been with Swizz, she’s gotten really lazy and her music has been trash. That Girl on Fire song is so terrible that I can never sit through the whole thing. When your title track sucks you’re in trouble.
I always thought GQ was an upscale Mag. I guess it isn’t.
