Beyonce‘ kicked off the new year in a major way as she performed the National Anthem at President Barack Obama’s second inauguration. And though she caught some heat for singing over a prerecorded track, that hasn’t overshadowed the big things that the superstar singer has been able to do so far. She was able to snag a multimillion dollar endorsement deal with Pepsi, is gearing up for the highly anticipated tour “The Mrs. Carter Show” and has landed on the covers of major publications. Millions of her avid fans literally ran over each other to get to ticket offices across the world to get the chance to see Beyonce’ live in action. And the halftime show that she put on at this year’s Super Bowl gave them reason enough to come out of their pockets to see her performance as Beyonce’ received a huge round of applause from some of her biggest supporters, and thrilled Destiny’s Child fans when she brought Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams out on the stage with her.
That part of the show happened to be Keyshia Cole’s least favorite part as she shaded Michelle Williams over her portion of the performance. Keyshia’s shade got her dragged by DC fans all over the Twittersphere for days, Keyshia going in on Michelle for days too. After finally laying off of Michelle Williams and getting checked by Kelly Rowland for her negative commentary, Keyshia Cole started up again and this time, she came straight for Bey.
Beyonce’s fifth studio album is on its way as she has been working on her new music. Wanting to give her fans a taste of her new music, Beyonce’ released the track ‘Bow Down/I Been On’, that has been getting mixed reviews. Keyshia Cole made it clear however that she was not a fan of the song and blasted Beyonce’ over it, Keyshia saying that Beyonce’ tries to promote women sticking together and then in the next breath is telling them to bow down and calling them female dogs.
Beyonce’ doesn’t seem to be worried about Keyshia Cole’s diss though as she posted a picture of herself smiling and enjoying the first day of spring:
