Controversy won’t keep Beyonce down for long. The singer bounced back quickly after the lipsync scandal from her Inauguration performance with an epic Super Bowl performance, and she even bounced back from the controversy surrounding her new music with a few laughs on her Instagram account. Beyonce is still on pace to keep making big moves in 2013. The superstar singer has a new studio album on the way, a new endorsement with Pepsi, and she’s set to start her world tour “The Mrs. Carter Show” this summer. Although she’s been a cover girl already for several major publications so far this year alone, it has now been confirmed that she is the new face for H&M. In a statement released by the fashion powerhouse, the company confirmed that they have selected the singer to be the face of its brand. Beyonce is of course excited about the opportunity and says:

“I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements — fire, water, earth and wind.”

Beyonce is the star penned to represent the company’s summer campaign, and it has also ben confirmed that Beyonce also helped design the clothes. The head of design at H&M, Ann-Sofie Johansson says:

“What makes these pieces even more special is that Beyoncé herself had input in the the design. And they are full of her own personal style.”

The ads for the campaign will position Beyonce as “Mrs. Carter in H&M.”

Congrats to Beyonce.
