Now that the very dull season three of Love and Hip Hop New York is coming to an end, it’s clear now more than ever that most of us realize that the magic of the Love and Hip Hop franchise is clearly with the Atlanta cast. The first season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta was surely an explosive one, and one of the highlights of the show was the “love triangle” between Mimi Faust, Stevie J., and Joseline Hernandez. Season two of the show is set to premiere on April 22, and everyone is anxious to also see where the love triangle, Erica Dixon, Lil Scrappy, Momma Dee, K. Michelle, Rasheeda, Kirk Frost, Benzino, and Karlie Redd are up to since the epic ending of the first season.
As we recently reported, the show did get two more cast members; but from the looks of the press release sent out by VH1, the biggest story lines of season two will be Stevie J.’s adjusting to Mimi’s new love life (she has a new boyfriend) and Momma Dee’s persistent attempt to keep Lil Scrappy from walking down the aisle with Erica. Not to mention, it looks like Momma Dee might still be Team Shay despite the fact that Scrappy has decided he’d rather be with Erica.
VH1 has released a mini sneak peek of the next season, and although the trailer is a short one, it’s clear that the next season will be full of lots of drama and even more ratchet behavior than the first. In the clip, Mimi throws a drink in Stevie J.’s face after Joseline calls her a maid, Momma Dee ensures Shay that she’s not letting Scrappy marry Erica, Momma Dee and Erica get ready to throw punches, K. Michelle and Rasheeda come to blows, Rasheeda tells Kirk she is pregnant, and Mimi’s new romance heats up. Check out the trailer below:
Update: Looks like VH1 is still rolling out the trailers. They just released another one that shows K. Michelle and Mimi Faust’s altercation and Kirk demanding a blood test after Rasheeda reveals she’s pregnant:
YASSSS!!!!! The ATL cast gets down!!!!!
I can’t wait. I know, I’m ashamed of myself. lol
Good. So now Mona can make up for that pathetic season of LHHNY she just made us endure. I didn’t even watch the last two episodes. Just terrible.
Yes! Bring on the trashy TV!
I honestly hope Erica punches Momma Dee in the mouth. She’s wrong for trying keep Scrappy from marrying her. She’s annoying!
Now for the REAL LHH.
I hope K. Michelle bodies Rasheeda. Rasheeda bothers me.
And the countdown to ratchet TV begins.
It’s sad that we actually crave TV that makes black women look loud, violent, and ghetto. I guess people did like LHHNY this season because it wasn’t enough violence. To each its own though.
*correction: didn’t
You make a good point, but if you don’t like it, don’t watch it. The quickest way to get rid of a TV show is low ratings. Until then, try not to judge grown people for watching what they want to.
Right
Talk about ratchet.
These story lines look fake as hell. With that being said, I’ll still be watching. LOL.
Can’t wait!!!!
CANNOT WAIT!
i miss this show. cant wait
