Kelly Rowland jealous of Beyonce success? Kelly Rowland’s new album “Talk a Good Game” is in stores now, but the most talked about song on the album without any hesitation is “Dirty Laundry.” The reason people are still talking about the controversial single is because Kelly used the song to reveal her past in an abusive relationship and she even made people think she confirmed she was jealous of Beyonce as she endured the dark period of her life. However, Kelly has opted to clarify the lyrics and tells In Touch Weekly that despite what it sounded like, she wasn’t saying she was jealous of Beyonce:

“I’m not saying I’m jealous of her by any means!” explaining the song is about “personal battles” and not her childhood friend. “It’s so sad that people always go straight to that place [of jealousy]. It’s ridiculous. It’s basically about me going through some struggles in my life while she was doing her thing.”

Kelly says she’s so artistically open with good friend Bey, she let her listen to “Dirty Laundry” before it was released. “She’s incredibly supportive,” Kelly gushes of Beyoncé’s feedback. “She was proud of me and thought the song was incredible.”

This isn’t the first time Kelly has made it clear in an interview that she’s disturbed by people who are wanting her to have some kind of feud with Beyonce, as she recently told omg! Insider she thinks people wishing there was some sort of beef between her and Bey are “sad.” Kelly says things are great with her and Beyonce and they are still extremely close.

  1. I personally don’t think Kelly is jealous of Beyonce but when you release a song like Dirty Laundry you have to expect that people are going to draw their own conclusions and constantly question you.

  2. Thats a lovely dress Kelly is wearing in that picture above. That’s all I gotta say about this one.
