The Juror B29 Zimmerman interview became the huge talk of social media last night as those who watched it were shocked by some of the things she revealed. Juror B37 was the first of the six jurors to speak out about the trial verdict and some of the comments she made in reference to the outcome of the Trayvon Martin murder trial didn’t sit well with those who caught her interview with Anderson Cooper. And the recent remarks from Juror B29 have now caused quite a stir. The only minority to serve on the jury and mother of eight did an interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts and opened up about her feelings on the trial verdict and how it has impacted her. And without hesitation, Maddy says George Zimmerman got away with murder, but will have to face God for what he did:

“George Zimmerman got away with murder, but you can’t get away from God.”

Maddy also tells Robin the outcome of the trial has kept her from sleeping and eating and assures people she isn’t looking for money:

“It’s hard for me to sleep, it’s hard for me to eat…I don’t need money. No money in this world could pay me to forget the pain that I’m going through. Trayvon Martin will always be in my heart.

“At the end of the day, he’s gonna have a lot of questions and answers he has to deal with. The law couldn’t prove it. We just have to believe in the Lord that if he [George Zimmerman] has to pay, he will pay.”

Maddy says putting her emotions aside and focusing on the law and evidence was not an easy thing for her to do and she feels she was “forcefully included” in Trayvon’s death:

“I stand by the decision because of the law. If I stand by the decision because of my heart, he would have been guilty.

“I feel that I was forcefully included in Trayvon Martin’s death.”

On whether or not she feels the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman incident was about race, Maddy says:

“Is it true? That’s a question to be asked.

“Just like [President] Obama, I go to a lot of places and I get people to follow me sometimes.”

On Juror B37’s use of the word “we” during her interview, Maddy says:

“[Juror] B37 used the word “we” I guess because we were in a jury together, she put it all as we were a group. The way she made a lot of us sound like we walk by color and that’s not what I do.”

Maddy then reveals to Robin Roberts what her initial vote was and says she could’ve caused a hung jury:

“My first vote was second-degree murder.

“In between the nine hours, it was hard. A lot of us wanted to find something bad, something that we could connect to the law. Because for myself, he’s guilty because the evidence shows he’s guilty…of killing Trayvon Martin. But as the law was read to me, if you have no proof that he killed him intentionally, you can’t say he’s guilty…I was the juror that was gonna give him the hung jury. Oh, I was. I fought til the end…I’m the only minority and I felt like I let a lot of people down.”

As many people were disappointed in Maddy for not standing her ground when it came to her vote, Trayvon’s mother Sybrina Fulton says she and her family were devastated over Juror B29’s comments:

“It is devastating for my family to hear the comments from juror B29, comments which we already knew in our hearts to be true,” Fulton said in a statement. “That George Zimmerman literally got away with murder.”

  1. I’m not trying to hear what this woman has to say. She should have fought when it mattered and she didn’t. Don’t try to cry about it now.

  2. She has a guilty conscience. She should have fought against those racist jurors and she didn’t. So I’m not trying to hear what she’s saying.

  3. Well Florida “law” clearly has some issues if they keep letting murderers go free. Glad I don’t live there.

  4. I feel sorry for Trayvon’s mother and father to hear a juror say they believe GZ murdered their son and to find him not guilty in that same breath has to be another big blow. Reality is she caved under the pressure from the other jurors and now she is feeling guilty. She should have stuck to her gut.

  5. I honestly can’t find a way to feel compassion for any of these jurors. If you knew he was wrong, find him guilty of SOMETHING. Manslaughter was very possible and they didn’t even vote for that. This woman here was a wimp and now she’s talking because she wants to get rid of the guilt and gain some sympathy. Girl bye.

    1. Thank you! I don’t want to hear sh-t from any of them! Every single one of them have that child’s blood on their hands! All of them.

  6. And this is helping what exactly? She should have stayed silent. I don’t want to hear from any of these women.

  7. One thing I’m glad about when it comes to all this, is that his case is still being talked about. So often injustices happen and when a verdict is reached, that’s all she wrote. In one way or another, it gives me hope. These jurors are speaking out and are literally falling one-by-one. We’re hearing how….*thinking* STUPID they were and the guilt that followed shortly after. I don’t wish bad on anyone, but there’s a piece of smile deep down inside knowing that her life hasn’t been the same since she caved. She is very much part of Trayvon’s death; glad she didn’t need the law to figure that much out. As I’ve said before, God makes no mistakes man. His plan is well calculated and I’d pay to be a fly on the way wherever Georgy Porgy has his cowardly self confined to. This is far from over and I’m so glad we are taking advantage of our rights and standing OUR ground……. These jurors need not say a word about what they felt in their “hearts.” Be it your heart or the law, all signs pointed to guilty. Prison goes beyond a cell. And I’m sure those jurors and defense attorneys are quite uncomfortable in their mental prisons… The conscience is a beautiful thing.

  8. Oh Please! She fell under the pressure to juror b-tch 37 who was obviously the one who manhandled everyone else to come to the not guilty BS verdict. I feel no sympathy for this woman because if she should’ve STOOD HER GROUND on her rights to make a decision that would let justice for this innocent child prevail. She SHOULD live with this decision for the rest of her life because she as well as those other jurors has just as much of Trayvon’s blood on their hands as George Zimmerman. That conscience of hers is just God’s voice whipping her for not doing what she knew was right.

  9. And how could she not know how important her role was??? Are you serious girl?! She said it herself, she was the only minority on the jury, so how could she not know how important she was???? Sometimes God only needs ONE to change things and make a difference and she FAILED that’s why God is whipping her with his voice! She said she felt in her heart Zimmerman was guilty and that’s where God speaks, to our hearts! SMDH
