Kevin Hart DUI arrest won’t land the comedian behind bars according to latest report. Comedian Kevin Hart is living out his dreams right now as the comedian scored big in ratings with the first season of his pseudo reality TV show “Real Husbands of Hollywood” on BET. His stand-up comedy film “Let Me Explain” performed extremely well at the box office as Kevin added himself to the short list of comedians to sell out Madison Square Garden. And although their marriage is now over, Kevin and his ex wife Torrei are still on very good terms with each other as she said in a recent interview that she is proud of Kevin’s accomplishments and wouldn’t be opposed to working with him in the future despite their split. With all the great things going in Kevin’s life at the moment, he did have a run-in with the law a few months ago. Kevin was arrested for a DUI back in April where he was caught speeding on a highway in Los Angeles and the incident had the potential to land him behind bars. According to a report from TMZ, Kevin won’t be facing jail time over the arrest as he pleaded no contest to one count of DUI:
Kevin Hart will NOT sport an orange jumpsuit anytime soon — the comedian cut a deal following his high speed DUI arrest.
TMZ broke the story … Kevin was charged with two counts of DUI stemming from his April bust, after cops say he flew down an LA highway at 90 MPH, almost crashed into a gas tanker and then bombed a field sobriety test. We’re told his BAC was almost TWICE the legal limit — .15.
Kevin just pled no contest to one count of DUI — driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher — in exchange the other count was dropped.
The website goes on to say that Kevin was sentenced to three years probation and will be required to attend alcohol education classes for 3 months.
Who didn’t see this coming? BTW, the LHHATL reunion was boring.
Very boring and predictable!
LOL! Yep.
Exactly I knew he wasn’t going to get anytime and I didn’t even attempt to watch the LHHATL reunion if you seen one reunion you seen them all I’m burned out on LHH franchise it was a good run Mona lol.
I missed it. I might catch the rerun later. I’m sitting here trying to catch up on Breaking Bad. It’s very good, check it out yall.
I felt like I wasted an hour. Sooooo boring.
And that tease at the end with Kirk and Rasheeda was so SMH…
I’m trying to understand why the ended the first part the way they did. They introduced Rasheeda and Kirk and then said ok that’s it. Part two next week. It was weird.
I knew he would get off. @Veronoca, yeah it was. Maybe part two will be a little better.
He’s lucky. I hope he gets a driver now.
I hope he will be smarter next time. He could have killed himself and someone else.
LOL at y’all hijacking the post again and talking about the reunion.
I am glad he got off because he needs to be there for his children.
I expected this. Money talks.
He better get his act together. If it happens again he’s going to jail and he’ll be someone’s b-tch too with his little a-s.
I forgot about the reunion! LOL!
I don’t like people who drink and drive. Kevin should be ashamed of himself for even putting himself in this situation. I mean he has the cash. Hire a freakin driver.
