Chris Brown retiring from music? R&B singer Chris Brown is currently looking at possible jail time after being charged with a hit and run, and although his attorney has made it clear he doubts the singer will serve any jail time, Chris’ probation was revoked. According to reports, the singer is looking at possibly up to four years in prison if he is convicted, however, he’s taken to his Twitter account on numerous occasions to deny any wrongdoing. In fact, he seems to think he’s being unfairly targeted and it’s because of lot of people still haven’t forgiven him for assaulting Rihanna on the night of the Grammys in 2009. Chris just turned himself into jail on Monday, and although he was quickly released, he took to his Twitter account early Tuesday morning and suggested he plans on retiring after his the release of his upcoming album “X” because so many people refuse to move on from the Rihanna incident. He tweets:
Don’t worry mainstream America.After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album.
Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool & over it!
Chris didn’t mention what caused his most recent Twitter venting, but it could be the incredible amount of hate tweets he gets daily and the pretty harsh comments written about him on a daily basis on numerous websites and blogs.
Rather or not he really means what he’s saying about retiring remains to be seen considering his fans are still pushing him to keep making music.
If he quits, he’s basically letting his haters win. I hope he’s just venting and doesn’t mean it.
Good riddance! Now you can stop using Rihanna for album sales!

I can’t say I blame him. It’s unfair of how much people ride him for that one thing, but they love them so Charlie Sheen and barely mention he was abusive to his ex wife. You can’t tell me it’s not about race. The same people call Trayvon a thug for gold teeth and Zimmerman a hero. Bastards.
He’s acting like a brat. So what, some people hate him? Oh well, you don’t let them deter you from your dream. Man up Chris.
Oh damn. I’d hate to see him quit because that’s what they want him to do. So he’s really only hurting his fans and himself by doing this.

He ain’t hardly quitting anything…Maybe taking a hiatus for a few months but he’ll be back…
I wish Drake would call him a coward so he can shake off this nonsense and man up. Even if he quit and was working at burger king ppl would still hate n treat him worse. He better do him and not do for other ppl, bec at the end of the day u always have to face yourself flaws and all. Worked too dam hard to throw it all away. Let God make you stronger don’t, run away now. Besides what message does that send to young black brothers. Give up when your prosecuted and targeted as a black man? I don’t think so Chris. Man up.
