2 Chainz Gets Arrested on Tour

Rapper 2 Chainz has managed to blow up in the last year thanks to a series of hit songs and very popular collaborations with some of Hip Hop’s biggest names, but his image took a major hit after he was robbed during his recent weekend in San Francisco. As we reported recently, 2 Chainz was walking around the streets of the city with his entourage when a few men with guns approached them demanding they hand over their belongings. After 2 Chainz ran he eventually fell into the street where he things were promptly snatched by one of the rappers. The rapper refused to admit he had been robbed but the surveillance video was obtained by TMZ and one of the associates of the thieves posted a photo of his stolen bank card to Instagram before he admitted he had been robbed.

When social media began to clown the rapper for running for his life, he did an interview and defended his actions. But now he’s found himself in some real trouble as reports claim the “I’m Different” rapper was arrested earlier, and he was actually placed in handcuffs and taken off his own tour bus.

Two Chainz is currently on tour with Lil Wayne and T.I. for the America’s Most Wanted Tour, and the bus he was on got pulled over by police because of its taillights were out. Cops tell TMZ they noticed signs of drug use when they approached the vehicle, but the bus driver told them they had to get a warrant yet before he would unlock the bus and allow them to enter. The cops eventually came back with a warrant, and arrested 11 passengers for allegedly “interfering with the police process.” 2 Chainz was one of the 11 passengers taken off to jail.

There’s no word as of yet if he will face additional charges.
