2 Chainz is not happy about his recent run in with the police. As we reported recently, 2 Chainz was arrested in Oklahoma City the other day and according to TMZ the arrest went down on his own tour bus. 2 Chainz is currently on the America’s Most Wanted Tour with fellow rappers Lil Wayne and T.I., but the tour bus 2 Chainz was riding on caught the attention of police after officers noticed that its tail lights were out. The police then approached the vehicle after they claim they suspected drug use was going down on the vehicle, but the bus driver refused to let them on the bus until they first got a warrant to perform a search. The officers did just that and told TMZ they found drugs on the vehicle. 11 people ended up getting arrested not too long after the search for “interfering with the police process” and rapper 2 Chainz was one of those placed in handcuffs.
However, 2 Chainz is telling a completely different story. According to him, the police have been harassing them ever since the tour started in various cities and he also claims absolutely no drugs were found on the bus. He tweets:
Too blessed too (sic) stress
Don’t ask me ask OKC police department what they found on the bus,,,,u won’t get an answer because nuthn was found
This sh*t will make u go crazy , our bus gets pulled 1 a week and they always say I smell weed I need to search ur bus. Sht gets tiring
So he’s blaming the cops too huh
I hope he has a great lawyer.
I’m not saying the cops aren’t crooked, but is Twitter the best place to be talking about this? I doubt it.
Exactly.
Now I do believe the police are always watching those tour buses. Why not? It’s usually an easy bust. They have to stop keeping idiots in their entourage.
Neither TI or Lil Wayne got caught up in this because they are more experienced. You can tell 2 Chainz is still new to the game.
“You can’t f-ck with the police.”
Maybe next time he’ll remember not to ride on the bus the drugs are on. Most rappers know how it works.
I’m not sure why he’s discussing his legal problems on Twitter. Smh.
