Elle Varner and Iman Shumpert break up? R&B singer Elle Varner is making a name for herself in the music industry and now it’s been confirmed the singer will also be taking a stab at reality television as K. Michelle confirmed recently that she will be on her upcoming reality show which is rumored to debut sometime this fall. Elle found lots of success with her hit single “Refill,” but she’s usually pretty mum about her personal life so it’s hard to believe reality television could change that. Interestingly enough, Elle recently made the bold decision to go public with her romance with NBA player Iman Shumpert (New York Knicks).
Elle revealed she was dating the professional athlete several months ago and she revealed she had grown tired of keeping the romance a secret from the public. She told Hip Hollywood:
“He’s awesome. We’ve been friends for such a long time. Of all the guys that I’ve met throughout being in the limelight he’s the one guy that really stuck it out and built a friendship with me, and it meant a lot, so we’re happy. I’m glad I’m not hiding it anymore, it was a lot of work.
“We’ve been dating a minute. We were on our Jay and Bey tip. That’s the funny thing. We would be out all the time. It just one day showed up in a blog.
“I knew it was going to happen eventually. Just live your life and whatever happens, happens. That’s my thing.”
Unfortunately, Elle took to her Twitter recently to update her fans and confirmed that they had indeed called it quits. She tweets:
She then told her fans that she’s been hard at work on her next studio album and will have news on it soon:
While Elle says it’s no drama between her and her former boo, we did notice that she deleted all of the photos of Iman from her Instagram account.
Oh that sucks. I thought they were cute together. Oh well. Life happens.
He probably cheated and Elle wasn’t willing to tolerate it.
Too bad that can’t be said for K. Michelle though. Her boo cheats and she knows it but she stays because she says all men cheat anyway. She’s an idiot.
I would delete his pictures too. I never want to be reminded of a relationship that didn’t work. #shrugs
Eh there’s better fish in the sea! Love her.

Dang. I liked them together. She won’t stay single forever. She’s a beautiful girl.

Welp this is unfortunate as soon as she went public they broke up. If I was famous I wouldn’t post anything or go public with my relationship until at least a year it is so important to have a solid foundation especially when you in the public eye. I just laugh at all these people posting they public relationship so quick knowing it probably won’t last.
That sucks. I thought they were cute together. Oh well, I’m sure she won’t have trouble finding a new man if she wants one.
