Kandi Burruss and Kim Zolciak’s friendship took a nasty turn after both decided to collaborate in the music studio to churn out Kim’s hit single “Tardy for the Party.” The song performed well on iTunes and exceeded the expectations of almost everyone. However, Kandi later expressed that she felt like Kim ripped her off when it comes to the single and she claimed Kim owed her more money for penning her the song. Kim denied that she owed Kandi more money than what she already paid, and she even claimed that she felt she overpaid Kandi. Kandi of course disagreed, and eventually filed a lawsuit against Kim.
Kim felt the lawsuit was nothing more than a publicity stunt to help Kandi increase her ratings for her short lived spinoff show “The Kandi Factory,” and both the ladies did duke it out in court only for Kandi’s lawsuit to get dismissed. Although Kim seems to think the legal war with Kandi is over since she was victorious in court, Kandi says it’s far from over. She tells US Weekly:
“Kim really didn’t win. That was just one level of it. Now it goes back to other levels of the court and it’s still going on.”
When asked why she’s taking the issue back to court, Kandi says:
“It’s just the principal of it at this point. It’s not about the money. I’m doing great otherwise. It’s all just silly. It’s not a big deal to me. I’ve got my daughter and my fiance and am working on new music and a Broadway show that I will star in! So it’s all good.”
Kandi just let it go girl.
It’s the principle? This is a waste of time. Kandi should have gotten everything in writing from jump.

I think Kandi should just drop it. Not getting things in writing makes it hard for her to have a case in court.
She should have listened when people tried to tell her about Kim.
I love Kandi but she was naive to have made a song with Kim or even think they were friends at some point. Kim looks out for self only.
Really? I wish Kandi would just move on from this. She has a lot of money and she’s not even friends with Kim anymore. Kim isn’t even on the show anymore. So why keep dragging this out?
I can’t believe she is still on this.
Is she still going to let Phaedra represent her? If so, she will keep losing. LOL.

Oh Dear Lord, every chance you get on Real Housewives of Atlana you let everyone know how successful you are so why after 3 years are you so hell bent on getting money from Tardy for the Party, let it go and concentrate on your daughter your fiance and adult toy line get over yourself and your bruised ego because your spin off was horrific and Bravo pulled the plug.
