Mariah Carey just dropped a new track for her fans and now she’s doing a little press to prep everyone for the release of her upcoming album, “The Art of Letting Go,” which she plans to release February 2014. In a recent interview with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez, the diva opened up not just about her upcoming album but also her marriage and controversial time on “America Idol” with Nicki Minaj. And she didn’t hold back either. Here are the highlights of the interview.
Mariah once again confirmed that her time on “American Idol” was so full of drama that she began to hate it. But some are thinking she might have actually compared Nicki Minaj to Satan. She says:
“Honestly, I thought it was gonna be a three-person panel. They gave me a nice dangling monetary moment. It was like going to work everyday in hell with Satan.”
Mariah then laughed off the comment and stated she was just joking:
“Nah, I’m just playing. It didn’t affect me that much. I was disappointed.”
She also opened up about her hubby Nick Cannon’s interesting habit of being a little to open with the public about their marriage:
“I look at certain relationships in the public eye and I go, ‘See that’s class when you don’t need to talk about the relationship that much. I would prefer he silencio just a little bit.”
Considering Nick has no problem talking about his sex life in interviews, we can’t say we’re surprised by Mariah’s comments.

I told y’all where I stood on that. I don’t agree with everything she does, but from what I’ve seen Mariah seems to take more shots than Nicki does and then play like an innocent diva who’s being unfairly attacked when Nicki responds. IJS.
Nicki is going to get on Twitter and shade the hell out of Mariah again. LOL.
For her to be such a “legend,” why does she feel the need to shade Nicki all the time? Shouldn’t she be able that?

American Idol was probably the worst thing that happened to both of them. It just made them both look bad in my opinion.
This is what irks me about Mariah. Her “I’m better than everyone else” attitude is annoying.

Nicki doesn’t need to respond to this because if she does she will be labeled the bad guy/bully etc. Mariah always gets a pass for her mean girl behavior. And she really shouldn’t.
How is she going to say Nick needs to be more private about their marriage when she just tweeted him a picture of herself in a bra for the whole world to see?
Good point! And to be honest Nick worships the ground Mariah walks on he is always kissing her a-s in my opinion. I understand praising your wife but it’s almost like he has to feed her ego all the time. It’s weird. So I personally think she likes him sharing despite what she is saying because if she truly didn’t I believe he would stop.

She needs to stop talking about Nicki and worry about that flop album she’s about to drop next year. That new single is terrible and boring as hell.
