NBA player James Harden has found himself some new legal troubles. The Houston Rockets player is being accused of getting physical with a Kobe Bryant fan and it’s all because the fan allegedly compared him to the Los Angeles Lakers star.

According to TMZ, Barak Golan claims Harden was exiting Greystone Manor nightclub in West Hollywood on November 3 when he decided to roll down the window to the SUV he was riding in to greet fans from the backseat. Things allegedly took a nasty turn when Golan approached the vehicle and decided to compare Harden’s skills on the court to Kobe’s. The Kobe fan claims he told Harden:

“Kobe owns your a*s!”

Golan claims Harden immediately socked him in the face after he made the remark and the athlete then allegedly flipped him off before the vehicle sped away.

The fan is suing the professional athlete for assault and battery. He’s also demanding unspecified damages.

Harden’s camp hasn’t released a statement on the alleged incident as of yet.

  1. LOL! This won’t be a popular opinion, but that man deserved it. Social media has people thinking they can troll in person now because they do it online everyday.

  2. But why run up to the car and say that? People are stupid. But James should have kept it moving. Now he will have to pay this man. Smh.

  3. Both of them were wrong. If you don’t like someone, don’t approach them when they are greeting fans. And you can’t go around punching people in the face just because they decided to say something you don’t want to hear. People need to grow up.

  4. I’m all for suggesting to ignore comments like this. I just wonder why the suggestion is never for people to shut up… Or at least be respectful. We adjust to the craziest isht.
