Meagan Good will star in the upcoming sequel “Anchorman 2,” and the beautiful actress might be ecstatic to have nabbed the role but she tells Complex Magazine that she feels she doesn’t get taken seriously as an actress because she’s played so many sexy roles that it’s kind of what people have come to expect from her in each movie she lands.
The stunning actress nabbed a sultry spread with Complex Magazine and the photos are some of her best yet:

On her character in “Anchorman 2”:
“Linda Jackson is Ron Burgundy’s boss. She is one of the first black women to be the head of a news station like that, and a network like that. It’s very interesting, because this takes place at the end of ‘70s and the beginning of the ‘80s, so he’s never seen anything like that. Initially, I just think he’s an idiot; I don’t care for him, they’re at odds with each other. During the duration of the film, she realizes that she’s finally met her equal in this crazy, silly guy. That is kind of the turning point where she starts to go, ‘This is the one who will stand up to me, and will tell me what he thinks, and will do all the intimidating things I tell him to do—maybe there’s something there.'”
On feeling like getting so many sexy roles in films are making it hard for people to take her seriously as an actress:
“When I got into my 20s, I was fighting for people to see that the little girl from Friday and Eve’s Bayou wasn’t a little girl anymore. That’s why my career took the ‘sexy’ turn. By my mid-20s, it had backfired. I was always playing the sexy roles. It was hard for me to be taken seriously as a good actress. I had to fight my way out of that box that people put me in.”
She looks gorgeous, as usual.
Ugh love me some Meagan but she probably shouldn’t complain about not be taken seriously as an actress for being too sexy and then do yet another sexy photo spread. LOL.

She’s a very gorgeous girl, there’s not much she can do about being a sex symbol. But if she wants to be taken seriously as an actress, she has to get more diverse roles. Maybe it’s time to start turning down redundant roles.
I don’t think she’s a strong actress, and so because of that she gets the roles that only require her to be cute. She can always gets some training and improve on her craft.

Very pretty. But she should work on her acting skills. If people don’t take you seriously, it’s time to show them what you can do. She hasn’t had the right role to demonstrate the range of her acting abilities.
I’m really excited about Anchorman 2. The first one was hilarious. I’m glad she got the role though. It should give her some more exposure.
To be taken more seriously she has to start taking more diverse roles. She plays the same role in every movie. Gabrielle Union is the same way.
She looks very pretty, but now she should pick her roles wisely. She hasn’t shown much diversity in the characters she has played as an adult. I feel like they were mainly the same person over and over.
She has to start picking better roles. We get it, she’s gorgeous. But that doesn’t mean she can’t take diverse roles too. Anyway, can’t wait to see this movie.
