Beyonce’s “Bow Down” track didn’t sit well with lots of folks after she initially dropped the song via social media and caused an uproar and lots of debates, but R&B singer Keyshia Cole publicly came for Beyonce on Twitter and called her a hypocrite for calling females “b*tches” and still trying to be a feminist in the same breath.
That of course did not sit too well with the BeyHive, and instantly Keyshia became yet another target, the same fate that led to Keri Hilson having somewhat of a Twitter meltdown not too long ago.
Keyshia still stood by her opinion although it led to her becoming a victim of the BeyHive, and some figured she probably hated Beyonce as a result of her tweets.
But Keyshia seems to be over the situation and she made that clear via her latest Instagram video.
The other day she posted video of her dancing to Beyonce’s hit “Drunk in Love” and she was all smiles as she rapped along to Jay Z’s verse:
Keyshia did say recently that her Twitter comments about “Bow Down” haven’t erased her love for Beyonce.
In related news, Keyshia Cole has been all smiles lately and back in the studio despite her marriage with Daniel “Boobie” Gibson going sour, and she released a new track for her fans.
Keyshia did a remix to Chris Brown’s “Loyal” and in the lyrics it kind of sounds like she’s addressing her marriage issues with Daniel. She sings:
“What we had was so real and you let it all go, go down the drain … These ni**as ain’t loyal/ These b*tches can’t do nothing for you”
Considering Daniel had no qualms kicking it with strippers and making it rain recently in Instagram photos, it wouldn’t be a stretch for the lyrics to be Keyshia’s way of venting about the situation.
Check out the track below which features Lil Wayne and Sean Kingston:
I think Keyshia never really had an issue with Beyonce. She just didn’t like the song and it was blown out of proportion. Hell I didn’t like it at first, but it grew on me and I love Flawless. Anyway, Keyshia seems so much happier without Boobie.
Agreed!!!!
Aww she looks happy. And I’m glad she’s back to making that real R&B music.
She still gets on my last nerves but I think the reason she was so angry and coming for so many people on Twitter is because she was so unhappy in her marriage at the time. Now she seems to be healing and finding happiness without her husband. I wish her the best.
I guess. I still feel like the way she did things regarding Beyonce and Michelle was uncalled for. But I’m glad to see her happy again and making music. Maybe her marriage was the source of her bitterness at the time.
I’m loving the song! Now this is the Keyshia I fell in love with!!!!
Keyshia bout to take that crown back from K. Michelle. lol
What crown does K. Michelle have? Having the most ratchet fans? I really feel like Keyshia makes way better music. K. Michelle’s lyrics are trash.
Well damn.
Keyshia and K Michelle need to make a song together ASAP!
There will be fists flying and weave pulling before that ever happens.
LOL. Exactly.
The song was actually kind of nice. Keyshia is back y’all. I guess she just had to kick Daniel to the curb first.
She’s still a hater.
*side eye*
*gives the side eye with Fashionista and sips tea*
LOL who doesn’t love this song tho when it comes on in the club? I swear it’s my joint right now when I’m feeling myself. LOL.
Keyshia makes the best music when she is having man problems!
She really does. Mary J has the same issue. When they’re happy and in love, they make crappy music. But when they are going through it, they make classics.
She’s actually smiling?! I haven’t seen her look this happy in a long time.
That little club promoter she’s dating must be giving her that good D because she hasn’t looked this happy in along a-s time.
LOL @ good D. Y’all are a trip on here.
If you have a different opinion from that of someone else, you are a hater. I didn’t know you had to agree with every and anything that someone else does or co-signs. Love Keyshia either way.
Song was good but, I will never buy her album until she began to treat her fan base better…Sometimes you can cripple your own career
