Now that Keyshia Cole has confirmed that she and her husband Daniel “Boobie” Gibson have separated, it’s clear that she’s been using her new music to vent out her disappointment of her marriage.
Although she was cocky and threatening to “slap a b*tch” in the recently released “Rick James,” we hear a more mellow Keyshia Cole in “Next Time (Won’t Give My Heart Away.”
She sings:
“The crazy part about it is I took you right back / I thought you were a changed man / I tried to work it out for the sake of my family / But you took my kindness for weakness and my love for granted”
Check out the track below:
Nope.
I’m just not feeling her new music as of late.
Me either which is really disappointing because I’m a huge fan.
It’s not terrible, but I’m not feeling it.
Eh I’m not feeling this either. I have a feeling Keyshia is going to flop with these wack singles, cheap looking single covers, and her nasty attitude she is destined to flop. I won’t feel sorry for her either.
Yeah, so back to the drawing board.
Is this for her mixtape or actual studio album? Because…
Is she even trying anymore?
It’s not bad, but not great either.
It’s just ok.
I like it.
i think we got her back! HAHA
Her & K. Michelle could be sisters. Has anybody even checked for receipts? Cuz I don’t put anything past Frankie. Either way, there isnt a need for both of them in music. If you’ve seen one, u can skip the other.
