Rihanna is known for her “bad gal” image, and it’s one of the reasons her fans love her and feel she’s a very genuine recording artist. However, it appears her bad gal ways may cost her. Her former bodyguard is claiming she gave him a lashing so bad in past emails that it’s ruined his reputation, and he’s suing the Pop star for it.
TMZ reports:
Geoffrey Keating filed a lawsuit today in Ireland, where his attorney was also granted a motion to serve Rihanna with the suit in the U.S.
Keating claims Rihanna made “nauseatingly offensive” and false statements about him in an email to him and his partner last July. He also claims the offensive statements were made in a phone call to his sister.
Keating served as head of security for Rihanna while she was on tour between October 2012 and July 2013. He claims the remarks have gravely injured his reputation and his business.
When internet thugging goes wrong.
Basically.
It’s not e-thugging if you didn’t start it. This man is a certified psycho. This will be tossed out in no time.
He won’t win. He’s been stalking Rih ever since she fired him and he’s been making threats. She was only defending herself.

Well what did she say in the email that was so bad that he feels he was defamed?
I’d love to know what she actually said. The fact that he won’t say makes me think this will be tossed out.

Never put insults in writing. Someone can and will sue you if you do. I hope Rihanna smartens up. With all the accountant drama she’s had and other reports of her not being smart with her money, she’s on schedule to end up broke in about ten years.
LOL so that’s not happening.
It’s time for her to grow up a little. You don’t give people ammo to take you down and walk away with some of your money.
But how is it defamation if she sent the email to HIM? I always thought defamation was when u defamed someone’s character to others? He’s looking for a payday. But i do agree that she needs to grow up a little.
The problem is email is private so how can she defame him when he’s the one bring it to the public. Rihanna did not put in print,broadcast or in any public forum. Did anyone knew about this before he file suit?
I think you have to publicly made a comment. to defame someone.
