The other day Bobby Brown told fans during a show that his daughter Bobbi Kristina is “awake” and watching over him, but now his lawyer is attempting to set the record straight on her condition.
Apparently Bobbi is still unresponsive, and her condition hasn’t changed much.
Page Six writes:
But the prognosis for his 22-year-old daughter with the late pop singer Whitney Houston remains unclear, said his attorney, Christopher Brown, in a statement on Monday.
“Doctors have indicated that she will have a long life,” he said in a statement. “However, Bobbi Kristina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come.”
Bobby Brown’s wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, noted in the statement that her husband was “in an emotional state” when he spoke at the concert on Saturday.
“He is encouraged by the steps that Bobbi Kristina has made since her hospitalization,” she said. “She has made it out of ICU, opened her eyes and started a rehabilitation that will be long and hard.”
I’m so confused. So no real changes except she opened up her eyes once?
Basically. I’m sad now. I really thought she was getting better.
Ok. So Bobby just got a little ahead of himself. But if she opened her eyes, I can understand why her family is feeling so hopeful. They didn’t even think she would do that at one point.
Bobby doesn’t want to pull the plug on his baby and I think the Houstons feel like she won’t ever get better. What a sad situation.
The Houstons are still mourning Whitney. That was such a blow that they just can’t see this ending in a more positive way like Bobbi actually recovering. It’s kind like they just expect the worse now.
I see the family is still not on the same page.
No and that’s why it’s been such a mess. But they can’t let past issues go.
Sigh…so disappointing. I’m still praying for her. She can beat this.
Bobby wants her to get better so bad that he’s grasping at anything that seems like she’s making progress. Instead, he needs to realize that open eyes, and muscle twitches are normal brain-function responses in coma patients.
Poor Bobbi.
God bless her.
I hate to sound negative but I don’t think Bobby wants to face the scary truth. She may not ever get any better.
Damn man.
