Erica Mena and Bow Wow are set to tie the knot this summer, and although the couple swears everything has been smooth sailing when it comes to blending their families (both have kids), it’s being rumored that’s not the case.

The other day Bow Wow and his baby mama Joie Chavis threw a party for their daughter Shai’s 4th birthday, but people noticed in the photos that Erica was notably absent from the festivities.

Sources tell URBAN BELLE Erica didn’t get an invite because Joie’s not a fan of her LHHNY antics, but out of respect for Bow Wow and Joie, Erica is being respectful and keeping her distance.

And as far as possibly lashing out on social media goes, Erica plans to remain civil but hopes things will be worked out between them in the future.

In the meantime, don’t expect to see Erica at any functions for Shai. Meanwhile Bow Wow continues to be active in Erica’s son’s life.

  1. Joie still loves Bow Wow. She doesn’t like anyone he dates. She even shaded Angela Simmons. Like who shades Angela Simmons?

    1. I think she is keeping Shai away until she knows they are for real. Yeah they’re engaged, but most people still aren’t buying their relationship.

  2. I can’t really blame Joie I would be skeptical of having my child around Erica not only because of her behavior but most importantly she was just calling black people monkeys a couple of months ago. Now everybody that’s calling Joie bitter ask yourself would you really want your black child around someone who calls black people monkeys.

  3. LOL. I can’t blame her. But I do understand at some point they have to work this out. I hope Erica stays respectful.
