We told you months ago that Chad Johnson and his current girlfriend Crystal Bates were expecting, and now the former NFL star confirms his lady-love has given birth.
E! News writes:
The longtime loves welcomed their first child together Tuesday, with the Montreal Alouettes wide receiver announcing the news on Twitter. “New Infantry arrived at 8:34: Kennedi Chanel Johnson, 7 pounds 6 ounces to the sound of Frankie Beverly & Maze…,” the former NFL player told his followers.
In a series of follow-up tweets, Ochocinco wrote, “Literally had Frank Beverly & Maze blasting during delivery which seems to be a first for all parties involved… Been looking for infant Louboutin’s & Margiela’s for 9 months w/ no luck, not taking pictures until all her shoes are reminiscent of me…”
He later tweeted, “Look how cool life is, Kennedi born this morning, headed to take & train Baby Cha’iel at track practice then pick up @jicyraa_carter at 1.” In another tweet, the athlete asked, “Thoughts on purchasing a Sprinter for the squad for all the summer activities? Those of you who are parents?”
This makes kid number five for Chad.
In more baby news, rapper Fabolous and former “Love and Hip Hop New York” star Emily B just welcomed a new addition to their family too.
While they haven’t confirmed much more yet, both took to social media to confirm their new bundle of joy has arrived:
