R&B singer Lauryn Hill was able to secure dedicated fans with her classic album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” and people have been hoping for her comeback for years.

However, her return to the music scene has been hindered for multiple reasons, and one major problem is she’s developed a reputation for showing up late to her own shows.

Unfortunately for the fans, the Grammys became another missed opportunity to once again see her perform live.

  1. I really believe Lauryn is over music and would walk away forever if she didn’t need the money. She’s been through a lot and the industry isn’t something she wants anything to do with.

  2. This is such a mess. I love Lauryn but she has to do better. She has a contract to honor so in the meantime, she has to take her obligations seriously. If not, I can see her label adding to her debts and suing her down the line.

  3. You are given a chance to perform at the Grammys after that long then you bail out? It’s obviously the Academy still believes in her talent for them to invite her. Do better Lauryn.. We were all rooting for you

  4. I wish Lauryn would get her sh-t together. There’s always an excuse for why she doesn’t show up to her own sh-t.

  5. I don’t understand why she thinks one good album gives her the right to be unprofessional and pretentious. Even us non celebs understand we have to show up to our jobs on time.
