Katt Williams Takes His Issues with Kevin Hart to the Extreme?

According to reports, a woman claims Katt Williams attacked her after she told him that Kevin Hart is funnier.

A woman who was allegedly assaulted by comedian Katt Williams last month now claims that the attack was prompted by her assertion that “Kevin Hart is funnier anyway.”

“I said Kevin Hart is funnier anyway and that, like, lit a fire under him,” an Atlanta resident identified as Selena told local station WSB-TV. “The next thing I know, he’s charging at me. He actually hit me right here in my temple [and] tackled me to the ground.”

Allegedly occurring on Feb. 28, that attack would have happened right around the time Williams challenged Hart to a $5 million comedy challenge. Prior to that, Williams referred to Hart as a “puppet,” and later apologized for his comments.

In the Atlanta incident last month, Selena claims that she and a group of friends had been celebrating at a bachelorette party before spotting Williams. Shortly after the group went to get photos with the comedian, she alleges that Williams’ group attempted to block their car in an attempt to prevent them from leaving the scene.

Selena additionally claims that Williams pointed a gun at the vehicle. Other women in the group say Williams’ entourage took their phones. Williams is now facing misdemeanor theft and battery charges in connection with the incident, but the women involved are asking prosecutors charge the comedian with felonies.

Williams, for his part, claims that the group got out of hand with him and attempted to steal a chain off his neck, the Atlanta Constitution-Journal reports.

In related news, a woman out in Los Angeles has accused the comedian and a group of women of attacking her two years ago with “sorcery and spells.”
