R&B singer Jill Scott isn’t afraid to speak her mind in interviews and on social media, but she got plenty of backlash when she told Twitter followers she would stand behind Bill Cosby amid the rape allegations.
However, she recently confirmed that she has changed her mind on the situation.

Did she really change her mind or is she just trying to do damage control? She’s bae but she got dragged bad enough to back away from what she tweeted just to save her image.
I completely forgot she defended him. Oh well. I’m not going to stop listening to her music whether she defends him or not. Just like I’m not going to stop listening to Erykah Badu because she says dumb stuff all the time.

Wow, it wasn’t recently that she changed her mind. It was months ago. Why this story now? Let me first say that she is one of my favorite singers of all time, but she was wrong to blame the victims. I do appreciate that she was woman enough to publicly acknowledge her mistakes. She didn’t have to.
