According to reports from late last year, Tamar was having a hard time getting along with the show runners, and some of them allegedly branded her as being someone too difficult to work with.
Many brushed the reports off since they lost steam quickly, and Tamar appeared to be in good spirits on the show.
However, hours ago, Tamar posted a photo of her sister Toni Braxton hugging her and she wrote the following caption which caused a stir:
I love u all but I have been stabbed in the back by someone I stupidly trusted ( not my man or my sisters) I am not about to be tried and tested to snitch (?) and it’s not in good taste to tell you who…… but as #tamartians you are very smart and can figure things out on your own. Not too long after the singer wrote the Instagram post, blogger B. Scott claimed a source revealed Tamar was let go from the show:

A very reliable source confirms to B. Scott exclusively:
Tamar Braxton just got fired from ‘The Real.’ She wasn’t reading too well with the audience and sales people didn’t find her to be a good fit with advertisers. Also, production found her too difficult to deal with.
Apparently the rumor is true. Show executives have released a statement to Variety and they confirm Tamar will not be returning to the show:
The singer and reality TV personality has been a regular on the Telepictures Productions round table show since its debut in 2013 as a summer test series on the Fox O&O stations. The show expanded nationally in the fall of 2014 and has been a solid performer to date in daytime.
‘The Real’ and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season,” according to a statement attributed to “The Real” and Braxton issued Sunday, after word of her departure began to spread online. “She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career. Everyone associated with ‘The Real’ appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best for the future.”
I was really hoping this wasn’t true. I hate to hear about people losing paychecks. I hope Tamar keeps her head up and she finds something better.
I read she’s only following Tamera and Adrienne now so I’m assuming Loni and Jeannie may have helped push her out.

Aren’t most TV people bishes behind the scenes? So I would hope that wasn’t the real reason she was fired. That’s a weak excuse if you ask me.
I’m not surprised not even a little bit. In the business when those rumors start coming out about you being hard to work with, that pink slip is always right around the corner. When the Post wrote about her being a diva last year on the set, I knew it was just a matter of time. Tamar better learn from this. Black women don’t get the same second chances as everyone else.
They have to replace her with the right person or this show is done.
She’ll be fine. She has like five other jobs.
That bit about God is holding her hands confirms the snake is Loni. Remember when they used to walk out together at the beginning of the show, her and Loni would always hold hands. She never liked Jeannie so I’m not sure how someone she never liked could betray her. It has to be Loni.

Honestly I think white women are the ones that watch most of daytime TV. So I can see why they wouldn’t really like Tamar. They would think someone like her is too ghetto. I know they said The Real is for women of color but I never believed that. Don’t be surprised if they end up brining some white women in to host in the near future. This will become another The View and there will be more firings.
For them to be kicking people out so early on is not a good look. If Tamar was such a problem they should have fired her after the test run. Now I won’t be surprised if the panel becomes a revolving door like The View did.
I thought her and Vince were executive producers.

Now it could be that Tamar was done dirty but there’s always a possibility she shot her own self in the foot. Time will tell what the case was here.
This makes me sad. I really think she was a great fit and I love the chemistry of everyone on the show. I’m nervous about the show’s future now.
So we’re left with racist Jeannie, unfunny Loni, and annoying Adrienne. The only one I like now that’s left is Tamera.
