Watch: Tamar Braxton Talks ‘The Real’ Ratings Drop + If She Would Go Back

“The Real” reportedly experienced a dip in ratings after Tamar’s departure.

When Tamar appeared on TD Jakes’ talk show, she addressed the ratings and possibly returning.

Inquisitr writes:

Tamar was asked if she’d ever head back to the Fox daytime talk show during an appearance on The T.D. Jakes Show on December 19, as Jakes asked the Braxton Family Values star if she would take back her seat on the hosting panel alongside Loni Love, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon amid reports the series has been struggling in the ratings game.

“Ain’t that terrible lord Jesus,” Tamar joked when Jakes alluded to recent reports claiming The Real’s ratings had slipped in the wake of Braxton’s firing, before then admitting that if she got a call from the show’s producers asking her to return she would have to “pray” on an answer.

“I would have to really pray about it and think about it,” Braxton, who’s currently working on her own talk show with Steve Harvey admitted, “because I would have to pay attention to why God removed me from that situation.”

“I believe He removed me from that situation to protect me from them,” Tamar then admitted, seemingly referring to her former The Real co-hosts who she admitted that she’s been locked in a pretty bitter feud with ever since she was fired from the series seven months ago and just days after Love admitted she’d welcome Tamar back to the show, despite their months long feud drama.

  1. I actually respect her answer, however, it makes me wonder how if that’s her perspective, why she’d be so bitter toward her “friends” who have since gone on the show. It’s not adding up…

  2. Tamar needs to stop talking about The Real. All she’s doing is giving the employer who fired her free press and seeing how the ratings are dropping, I’m sure they are happy to be talked about. Just saying.
