You’ve had a pretty tough rookie season on “Basketball Wives.” And one of the main reasons it’s been difficult is because your sister Aja has made some serious accusations about you. Do you think the show displayed you in the right light?
I was for sure thrown in the lion’s den. Well dealing with all the personal things I was going through with my sister who clearly doesn’t know me, I personally think that the show captured more of the sensitive side of me when I am a way stronger person than what was shown of me.
Aja has expressed on social media that she doesn’t think it’s fair that producers gave you more time on-screen while she and Melissa were cut out. Why do you think producers were more interested in your story?
That was out of my control when the whole time I was fighting for all three of us to stay on the show constantly asking why haven’t I shot with them. But in the end, my sister swears up and down that I had something to do with it. But what’s crazy is I don’t have that much pull but I’m flattered that they think I do.
How did you feel about the stylist situation on the show becoming a majority of this season’s drama?
I have no words regarding the drama the stylist brought this season.
You and Jackie Christie started off trying to develop a friendship, but you later came to the conclusion that you couldn’t trust her. Now that the season has wrapped up, have your feelings changed?
Jackie isn’t a bad person at all I just chose not to associate myself with her.
How is your relationship with Saniy’yah currently?
Never had one with her. I actually do not know her.
Have you hung out with any of your cast members since filming?
Haven’t actually hung out with any of them but I’m still in contact with Evelyn and Bonnie since filming has wrapped.
We know you can’t give too many details on the reunion, but if you could describe it in one word, what would it be? Drama, Drama, Drama.
Do you have any regrets when it comes to your time on the show? If so, what are they? Also, what is the biggest lesson you learned from your time on the show?
I’m the type of person when I do something I will never regret it but I do wish my relationships with my sisters were stronger going into this situation. As far as what I’ve learned, it is to not be so trusting.
Would you return for another season if asked?
Yes, of course I would.
What other projects are you working on currently?
I’m actually a photographer and I’ve been working on my pop-up galleries. My first one I should be doing the first of the year, so look out for C. Marie photos. Also follow my social media pages on IG and Twitter.
I like Cristen. She actually cares about her sisters regardless of how many times they dog her out.
She still talks to Ev? They are probably going to bring her and Saniy’yah back next season. I just wish Brandi wasn’t fired.
She’s cool. Her sisters are trash though.
Cristen has had multiple opportunities to drag her sisters but she continues to take the high road. I respect that.
It just hit me that the reunion is going to probably suck so bad.
I still don’t understand why Aja and Melissa hate her so much.
Aja thought throwing Cristen under a bus would keep her on the show but she still got cut. Hilarious.
Her sisters ain’t sh-t.
I honestly hope one day all three of these sisters can make peace and stop all this fighting. Blood is thicker than water.
