LHHNY Recap: Yandy Clashes with Judy & Mendeecees + Remy Needs Balance

Remy Ma is enjoying her success amid her beef with Nicki Minaj.

“The past year has been crazy…when you’re on top, of course people are going to keep trying to come at you.”- Remy

Remy remarks on the eventful year she had after dissing Nicki Minaj in “SHEther,” and she’s happy to be nominated for Best Female Rapper at the BET Awards.

She is also still glowing from inviting Queen Latifah, Lil Kim, etc. to join her during her performance at the Hot 97 Summer Jam.

She has a party to celebrate female unity, and JuJu and Bianca show up.

JuJu calls out Bianca for fighting Bri, another female rapper at a club recently.

Remy tells Bianca to let the beef with Bri go because she will only go down a road that won’t be good for her.

“I don’t want you to be like me.” – Remy

DJ Self catches up with Snoop and Papoose. He introduces them to his new artist, Dreamdoll.

He brags on the fact that she can sing and dance.

Safaree strolls in and says he’s happy to be back in New York in a green screen interview.

Self introduces Dreamdoll to Safaree, and he finds her attractive.

Safaree says he’s ready to fall in love with a New Yorker.

Yandy blows off Mendeecees.

Yandy arrives and catches up with JuJu and Remy.

She tells them both that Little Mendeecees hasn’t been around much because things still aren’t peaceful with Samantha.

Yandy talks about the new production studio she opened up in Atlanta, and gets a phone call from Mendeecees. She tells him she will call him back, and Remy says she doesn’t think that was a good move.

But Yandy says it’s not a big deal because she talks to Mendeecees multiple times a day.

Remy says she won’t judge Yandy although she thinks she should have taken the call.

Rich Dollaz finds out he has Type 2 Diabetes.

He wants to take it seriously since his grandmother and uncle died from it, plus he’s 40 years old.

He wants to “stop creeping” and get back to music, which he refers to as his first love.

Anais wants to dominate music, but her husband isn’t supportive.

Anais is a Latin singer, and she’s been nominated twice for the Grammy Awards.

She’s been performing since she was a child and she took a break from music to focus on being a mother.

Her manager Navarro believes she has what it takes to be a mega star.

While performing at a club, she feels confident that she can make it to the top. Her husband Ruben isn’t all that supportive of her getting back to making music, and she is prepared to leave him if he doesn’t get on board.

She flirts with Navarro when Ruben isn’t around but Navarro has a girlfriend he wants to be faithful to her.

Rich Dollaz stops by the studio to meet Brittany Taylor aka Bri.

The producer, Webstar, tells Rich that he feels Bri is very talented and can make it big. However, her beef with Bianca is getting out of hand.

Webster tells Rich that since he signed Bianca first, she feels some type of way about him signing Bri. Plus, she feels like Bri has stolen her style.

“This is the part of music that I don’t miss.” – Rich

Bri greets Rich and they discuss her beef with Bianca. Rich tells her that he loves her music but he’s troubled about her bad blood with Bianca.

Bri tells Rich and Webstar that she thinks Bianca is just jealous that she has more buzz. She also feels Bianca is the one who stole her style. With her grandmother being sick and her mother being a drug addict, she wants to prove to her that she won’t fall to the dark side of the business.

Rich is impressed by the way Bri was able to sell/market herself, and decides to work with her.

Mendeecees confronts Yandy.

While at her office, Mendeecees calls Yandy again and questions why she wouldn’t talk to him while she was at Rimy’s party. He tells her he needed a favor and had to turn to his mother Judy to get it done.

Yandy feels like Mendeecees a bit of a momma’s boy.

After learning that Yandy will helping out on the set of a photoshoot for one of her artists, he gets upset and hangs up on her.

Safaree wants another shot at love.

Safaree meets with his mom and sisters to discuss what he wants in a woman.

They tell him that he places too much importance on a woman’s physical appearance.

His mom offers to pick his next boo, and makes it clear she doesn’t want them to be a dancer.

Anais is just about over Ruben.

She says she doesn’t want to be housewife, and Ruben tells her she’s too busy and she came home too late the other night.

In a green screen interview, she says she doesn’t feel like Ruben supports her.

She tells him she wants some freedom and independence, and he tells her she needs to figure out if she wants to stay married or not.

Remy wins Best Female Rapper at the BET Awards.

She’s happy to win the award because she feels like people are finally starting to see how much hard work she’s been putting in.

She toasts to Papoose on the win. She wants to start working on her album. However, Papoose reminds her they are supposed to be trying to have a baby.

He wants to focus on the IVF process but Remy says she can multitask.

“You’re only one person.” – Papoose

Bri and Bianca have another heated run in.

Rich, Snoop and Bri catch up at the club and Rich says he’s happy to be working with Bri.

“Bri, her little tail, she’s a fire cracker.” – Snoop

After Snoop and Bri get up to mingle, Bianca walks up to speak to Rich.

She tells him she’s networking to get her name out there.

He tells her that he wants her to speak to Bri and see if they can squash their beef since both of them want to focus on their music and move forward.

When Bri returns, she asks Bianca if she’s going to jump her again.

Bianca then throws a shoe at her and tries to run up before security intervenes.

“I’m always going to get you first, stupid!” – Bianca

This frustrates Rich who says this kind of drama is why he doesn’t like working with young artists.

“What she did was a bum b*tch move. Some things just can’t be squashed.” – Bri

Yandy clashes with Judy.

Yandy is helping her artist Graf with his photo shoot and helps him apply some oil on his arms when she notices he’s ashy.

Judy then walks on the set and has a lot of questions.

“Who the f*ck is that?” – Judy

She tells Yandy that Mendeecees told her to drop in and keep an eye on her. This angers Yandy and Graf.

When Judy questions why Yandy was oiling Graf, he gets annoyed and questions what she’s even doing on set.

Judy gets really fed up and tries to hit Graf.

Yandy tells her that she’s out of line but Judy tells her that she shouldn’t be rubbing Graf down. After she tries to run up on Graf again, she is escorted out and Yandy is extremely embarrassed.
