RHOA Recap: Cynthia & NeNe Call out Kim + Kandi & Porsha Squash It

Eva is backstage having contractions.

She hopes that she doesn’t end up going into labor. So she calls Dr. Jackie and Dr. Jackie tells her to try to relax.

Porsha and Marlo discuss their beef.

Andy asks Marlo why she was chasing Porsha at Eva and Kandi’s party. Porsha then says that Marlo should watch out because she’s been going to the gym regularly.

“Girl it don’t look like you been in the gym.” – Marlo

A fan writes in and asks Porsha why she doesn’t think it’s hypocritical that she placed something in Marlo’s face.

Porsha says she doesn’t feel it’s the same but Andy points out that it actually is. She really doesn’t have a response to this.

But she feels the situation also speaks to her progress in learning how to better handle her anger.

She says she’s changed and felt the need to just walk away from Marlo.

Another fan asks Marlo why it’s okay that she could chase Porsha at the party when she has past run-ins with the law, including slashing a woman’s face.

Marlo says she has changed and she’s not who she used to be.

Kenya isn’t buying this.

Kandi and Porsha get on the same page.

Porsha gets emotional when Andy asks her how she feels about the speech NeNe made in her honor in Barcelona.

She says it touched her.

They then discuss that Porsha feels everyone throws the Kandi situation in her face all the time.

Kandi says she can’t move forward with Porsha until Porsha really owns her role in the situation. Porsha then announces that she has something to say to Kandi.

“Can we have some cocktails?” – Kenya

“You pregnant ain’t you?” – NeNe

Porsha once again apologizes for the station and says there are no buts.

Kandi accepts and says they will leave it in the past so people won’t bring it up to them again. They shake on it.

Kim arrives.

After a quick break, all the ladies go backstage.

Kim gets set up in a dressing room.

She gets some info from Sheree backstage and Sheree tells her that everyone is calling her out for not ever holding Kim accountable.

After Kim hears this, she says she doesn’t need NeNe angry because she’s “a big b*tch.”

Marlo addresses escort accusations.

NeNe gives an update on Gregg. She says he’s doing great and taking meds for his heart problems.

Andy then asks NeNe about her drama with a heckler.

She explains that she was in the middle of a stand up joke about Uber and the heckler told her to kill herself. She then told the heckler that she hoped they were raped.

Kandi says it wasn’t the right thing to say but she understands NeNe made a mistake. Sheree then says she would never say something like that.

But NeNe makes it clear that she’s been helping abuse victims since season one.

NeNe and Kandi confirm they have come a long way and they are actually friends now.

The conversation then switches back to Marlo.

Marlo says that she’s hurt that Kenya keeps calling her an escort.

Andy flat-out asks Marlo what she does to have the lifestyle that she has.

She says that she dated a billionaire and invested the funds well. She has multiple businesses, including Simply Marlo, LLC.

The billionaire ex is not Ted Turner.

Porsha says it’s not cool to accuse anyone of being an escort and Kenya reminds her that she accused her of being an escort in the past seasons.

Despite this, everyone agrees to chill out on the escort accusations.

Cynthia and Eva discuss the Will drama.

Eva comes out and says she is having contractions every ten minutes.

She confirms that she is engaged to Michael and they are getting married in October.

Andy asks if Michael is okay with her doing the show since he’s in politics. Eva says he’s fine with it.

Cynthia and Eva discuss Will.

She says that she was going to sleep with Will but changed her mind.

Eva says that she really did meet Will when he had another girlfriend.

But Cynthia is not hearing this and is convinced Will was single when she met him.

Porsha’s role in this is now discussed.

Cynthia says that she didn’t want to believe what Porsha said (Porsha said she heard Will was going around telling people Cynthia was just an opportunity for him) because they don’t have the best history. Porsha says she felt they were building a friendship so she was hurt when Cynthia brought up the Kandi situation and said she’s doesn’t know Porsha that well.

The Will drama may have caused Cynthia to take a break from Will. She reveals that she and Will are taking some time apart.

NeNe says she doesn’t think Will is Cynthia’s type. Cynthia likes men with more spice and she likes darker skinned men.

Eva says it was “humorous” to watch the show and see that Cynthia thinks she was lying about Will.

Regardless, Cynthia confirms she is dating someone else, a dark-skinned man who NeNe and Kenya say is handsome. They are not serious yet.

Andy brings up the Missy and Eva rumor.

She makes it clear that she felt it wasn’t cool for Shamea to ask her if she dated Missy and for Shamea to accuse Will of being gay.

Porsha says Shamea really felt bad about her actions.

NeNe and Cynthia confront Kim.

Eva leaves to head to the hospital.

Kim comes out with a red dixie cup. Porsha moves down one and Kim sits next to Andy.

NeNe says the purpose of the elephant party was to help everyone move forward. It was not successful.

At this point, Cynthia expresses her frustrations with Kim.

“You always take digs at me.” – Cynthia

She calls out Sheree and Kim for taking shots at her in the After Show specials. Producers flashback to clips of Kim saying Cynthia wouldn’t have gotten far in life without her good looks.

Andy notices Kim acting like she doesn’t understand what Cynthia is talking about, so he reminds her that she’s been really shady towards Cynthia in the After Show specials.

After trying to dodge explaining her issues with Cynthia, Kim finally says Cynthia is a follower and she doesn’t have a backbone.

Cynthia says Kim doesn’t have any class.

This clap back makes NeNe smirk.

Kim insists that saying Cynthia would not have gotten far in life without her good looks was not shade. She feels it was a compliment. Porsha and Kenya say that it was “a back handed compliment” and “condescending.”

Andy then brings NeNe back into the fold. He wants clarity on her issues with Sheree and Kim.

NeNe says she doesn’t have an issue with Sheree, just Kim.

She explains that her issues with Kim started when they saw each other in the mall parking lot. NeNe said Kim had her nose up in the air and acted like she couldn’t speak.

Then Kim shows up to her house for her party and asks NeNe if she parked in a handicap spot. NeNe feels this was tacky and shady.

NeNe also points out that Kim originally said she didn’t see NeNe. Which is a lie.

“Did you see me b*tch or did you not see me? She is a liar.” – NeNe

At this point, NeNe says that she’s also outraged that Kim took a photo of her car parked in a handicap parking space.

Kim denies seeing NeNe and taking the picture but producers flash back to Kim telling Sheree she saw NeNe at the mall and showing her the picture.

Now that it’s been made clear that the picture is real and was shown on the show, Kim says that someone sent her the picture and she did not see NeNe.

Everyone else thinks this is BS.

NeNe gets fired up and Kim tells her she better stay seated.

“No b*tch, you  better stay motherf*cking seated with all this bullsh*t you done talked. Talk it now!” – NeNe

Kandi tries to calm NeNe down and remind her to sit back in her chair but NeNe won’t stop.

“You’re a hater! You’re jealous! Your mouth is reckless. You are f*cking trash! You ain’t sh*t. I got a lot you want. ” – NeNe

The episode ends with NeNe raising out her seat and still going in on Kim while everyone else looks shocked.
