Fans of “Queen Sugar” are probably thrilled that there is a new episode tonight.
But many are not happy about the budding romance between Remy and Nova.
In fact, quite a bit of them expressed such on social media after the characters shared a kiss.
Director Ava Duvernay defended the kiss and told a fan that the storyline shows that life isn’t always perfect.
On the most recent episode, Nova texted Remy that they cannot move forward in their romance.
But the synopsis for tonight’s episode says the characters will glow closer, hinting that Nova may end up changing her mind.
