Master-P gives Pepa parenting advice.
The episode opens with Pepa hosting Master-P at her home. She’s been having issues with Tyran and she’s looking for advice from P on how the handle the situation. She tells P he’s holding something against her.
P asks about the men in Tyran’s life growing up and she reveals she broke up with his father while pregnant with him. Pepa says she broke up with Tyran’s father because he got another woman pregnant while she was carrying Tyran.
As a result, Tyran wasn’t raised with his father in his life.
“I’m Tyran’s mother and father.” – Papa
Master-P tells Pepa that there aren’t things she can do for him that he needs.
“Everyone has a role they play.” – Master-P
He’s taking Romeo and the other GUHH men on a camping trip and suggests Tyran comes along. Pepa agrees and she wants to get a therapist to talk to all three of them together.
Kristinia reveals she has a cousin she never met.
Kristinia stops by Vanessa’s office. Vanessa’s disappointed Kristinia’s leaving and wants to throw a girls-night as a send off. Kristinia tells Vanessa that she doesn’t want Briana there.
“I want to leave LA on a good note; just me and my girls. That means no Briana.” – Kristinia
She also reveals that she has a cousin named Kendall. Her father is El DeBarge, Kristinia’s uncle. But Kristinia’s mom kept Kyndall away from Kristinia’s family. She’s nervous about meeting her because of the paternity foolishness from last season.
Romeo wants Boogie to join him on Master-P’s camping trip.
Master-P tells Romeo about planning the camping trip, and Romeo tells P to invite Boogie, Jojo and Lil Eazy-E. He tells P that all of these men need to hang out with Master-P and learn some life advice.
Speaking of Boogie, he’s leaving his rehab facility. Boogie’s going to celebrate this achievement by hosting a pop-up party for his clothing merchandise. His counselor wants Boogie to talk to Dame, growing their relationship.
“As far as my dad goes, I’m a hold off for a bit.” – Boogie
When on the way to the airport, he texts everyone about the pop-up party. Of course, Briana is excited see Boogie and will be there. Romeo can’t make it and invites him to his camping trip instead.
Egypt and Tyran are hanging out, waiting on their mom. When Pepa arrives, she tells them about all of them going to therapy. Egypt’s open to it, but Tyran’s against it. However, Tyran’s happy Pepa’s stepping up, looking to get all of their issues addressed.
Things get uncomfortable with Egypt as Tyran asks if Tee Tee could come. Pepa doesn’t agree with Tyran that she’s closer with Egypt than him.
Kyndall and Kristinia meet.
Kristinia is hanging out, waiting to meet up with her cousin Kyndall. When she arrives at the spot, she and Kyndall share a huge hug. Kyndall’s father is El Debarge. They never met and she’s interested in learning about the DeBarge side of her family.
Kenydall never met her brothers, sisters, nor lived with her father. In fact, Kyndall says she met him for the first time at a meet and greet.
Kyndall tells Kristinia that her mom made her feel bad to be a DeBarge.
“It’s such a breath of fresh air to actually meet a blood member of my family.” – Kristinia
Kristinia invites her to her farewell party and she’s nervous what will happen when she meets Briana.
Boogie popped bottles at his pop-up shop party.
Tyran takes Tee Tee to a Malibu beach to talk to her about going to therapy with his mom and Egypt. He feels he won’t have anyone in his corner when they go to therapy. Tyran says he calls Tee Tee his first sister. So Tee Tee’s going to show up to therapy with Tyran.
“Your other sister is here.” – Tee Tee
Boogie gets dropped off at his pop up shop he’s throwing an event for his clothing line. At the event, the others show up, and they see Boogie popping champagne bottles. When Briana arrives, Boogie’s holding an open bottle in his hand. But he’s not drinking anything.
This perplexes Briana.
“I just don’t understand why you throw an event this wet when you’re fresh outta rehab.” – Briana
She then pulls him aside to ask him to talk to Dame. He says Dame doesn’t want to talk to him until he fixes himself first, and Briana calls him petty.
Later on, Briana tells him she’s single, throwing him hints. But he doesn’t bite.
Master-P and Tyran bond while camping.
Jojo and Lil Eazy-E arrive first for Master-P’s camping weekend. As they tour the facilities, Tyran comes by next and he vents about Pepa not giving him the attention he wants. In fact, Tyran tells them a time of when Pepa got a driver for an event to attend, and the driver was in shock. They apparently didn’t know Pepa even had a son.
This story shocked Jojo and Lil Eazy-E.
Master-P and Romeo show up as their hosts, asking if Boogie showed up. He hasn’t arrived, which frustrates Romeo. Despite that, they all set up to camp.
When Master-P goes to find Tyran who walked off, the other guys get to talking. Jojo takes shots at Romeo liking Angela.
“So you still crushing on my sister [Romeo]?” – Jojo
Romeo jokes, saying that he and Jojo could be brother-in-law.
Meanwhile, Master-P catches up with Tyran. Tyran tells P the same things he’s been telling everyone else; he doesn’t feel he and Pepa have a close relationship.
“I feel like you should be close to your mom.” – Master-P
“I agree. I’m a momma’s boy personally.” – Tyran
He tells P that he feels happy Egypt’s getting the attention, and he wants some too.
Master-P tells him that he should forgive Pepa. But, Tyran still wants an apology from Pepa, hoping he gets it from her at therapy.
The girls meet Kristinia’s cousin Kyndall
As the guys are camping out, Vanessa hosts Kristinia’s girls night out. Angela arrived first and Vanessa tells her she was acting weird. She blames that weirdness for not attending Egypt’s event. But Vanessa forgives her for everything because she wants to work things out with Angela.
Egypt and Tee Tee arrive next. She tells Angela about her swimsuit line. Eventually, the woman of honor Kristinia arrives with Kyndall. Kristinia tells them that she’s happy for the opportunity but scared about leaving.
Kyndall tells everyone about her past as a DeBarge.
Egypt brings up Angela and Romeo in Orlando. She says that she just joined him to hang out, and he invited her.
Tee Tee brings up Boogie’s intervention and Briana’s name came up. Suddenly, Angela gets up and leaves.
“I think Angela left because Briana’s name came up.” – Egypt
Kristinia warns the ladies not to introduce Kyndall to Briana. But, Egypt wants the two to link up.
Romeo makes it back to LA and hits the gym with Boogie. Boogie’s glad to hear the positive reinforcement from Romeo. He tells Romeo he had a good time at rehab but he’s not talking to Dame.
Romeo tells Boogie he has to reach out to Dame. Boogie tells him that Dame doesn’t want to talk until he gets clean.
Pepa and Tyran hug it out at therapy.
Today’s the day Papa takes her kids and Tee Tee to therapy. She’s hopeful she can fix her relationship with Tyran. Tyran’s nervous about being there, so he goes first with the therapist.
He says he feels neglected while Egypt says she’s just here for Pepa. The therapist brings Papa and Tyran to talk. Tyran tells Pepa he feels neglected. However, Papa says Tyran feels that he doesn’t show any love.
During the conversation, the two get defensive and go back and forth.
Tyran says he felt shamed being around his mom in public due to how she dressed and garnered attention.
The therapist steps in to say Tyran feels like he doesn’t get the love he feels he deserves from Pepa. They are then next joined by Egypt and Tee Tee.
At this point, the Therapist tries to align Pepa and Tyran that they both feel they don’t matter to one another.
At the end of the episode, Pepa apologizes to Tyran and the two hug things out.
