Desna burns her wedding dress.
The episode begins at Jen’s house with Desna plotting by the pool. She’s recapping events with Greg and Zlata.
Dean interrupts her thinking, noting Desna’s cold. However, she says nothing, which freaks out Dean. He gets Virginia to come out and talk to her and she notices she burned something that looks like drapes.
“Wedding dress.” – Desna
That news freaks both of them out. Desna then tells Virginia to get dressed and come with her.
Arlene and Lucy put pressure on Ken.
Ann gets a call from Arlene and Lucy, who’s lying about working as a security guard. Ann asks to put their names back on the foster care list. Arlene asks if they can wait until September.
Arlene ends the call when Ken shows up. When the call ends, Lucy reminds her about having a relationship with someone they’re trying to bust.
“Still sleeping with the enemy. It’s gonna get messy.” – Lucy
Ken comes by tries to get them to lay off of Poly. Arlene and Lucy told Ken they don’t want Poly. They want to bust Zlata especially after the shooting at Hammer and Pickle. However, they tell Ken that if they can’t get Zlata, they’ll take Poly instead.
Desna and Virginia are in the Maserati, and Desna tells her about Greg and Zlata. Virginia’s shocked about this but this isn’t the only thing. Desna reveals that they’re plotting against her and she can’t figure it out.
Zlata’s torturing Roller for information on Uncle Daddy.
A wired Ken stops by Zlata’s castle. He nervously introduces himself to the guards who only let him in when Zlata comes down. He tests the microphone under his shirt before knocking the door.
When Zlata comes down, he tells Zlata he wants to do more in the operation. Zlata appreciates this, and takes him to the room where Roller’s being interrogated. Boris and her other men are waterboarding Roller with Vodka, she tries to get answers to Uncle Daddy’s whereabouts.
“Don’t be such p****. In Russia, this baby baptism.” – Zlata
Boris knocks out Roller when he doesn’t answer her questions about Uncle Daddy. So, Zlata has Boris wake Roller back up, and brings Olga and their son into the room.
At the hospital, Bryce’s going through rehab to walk again. He struggles as Jenn’s by his side, coaching him on.
Bryce curses at the physical therapist as he falls back into his wheelchair. The therapist tells him his motor skills won’t come back in one day. When the therapist leaves, Jenn talks to him. Bryce reveals he’s nervous about his upcoming surgery to remove a bullet fragment from his lung.
“I hate her for what she did to you.” – Jenn
Bryce tells Jenn that he wants to forget about Zlata and quit working for Zlata.
“I’m done with this life Jenn.” – Bryce
He tells Jenn that they can move to Tampa, Miami or out of Florida to escape the life.
Jenn’s happy about this and they share a kiss.
Roller learns the baby isn’t his.
Zlata’s holding Roller’s baby, and Roller screams not to hurt the baby. She then grabs a gun and points it at the baby’s head.
Roller finally opens up and tells Zlata Uncle Daddy shot Chip and he put him on a Greyhound Bus towards Greensboro.
Zlata left satisfied and Olga kicks everyone out of the room. At this point, Olga calls him a good man and says that they shouldn’t have been married.
“You don’t know everything. Bodgan is not your son.” – Olga
Roller is even more devastated by this. But he takes Bodgan away from Olga, telling her to get away from him.
Desna wants to kill Zlata and Greg and tells this to Uncle Daddy, Poly, Jenn and Ann. Poly tries to calm her down about this. Later on, Uncle Daddy reveals that Greg’s gang keeps their stash of c*caine in a warehouse. The place will be sparsely guarded as they’re watching a soccer game.
Desna wants to burn down the drug stash and the warehouse ASAP.
She tells Jenn and Poly to run the shop. Ann wants Desna to think about this, but Desna ignores her.
“I’m sick of being played with. Sh*t’s happening tomorrow.” – Desna
Night comes and goes and the day opens with Desna and Uncle Daddy leads Ann, Roller and Virginia on a boat coming up to the stash house. Ann expresses her doubt of this operation and Desna ignores this.
When they get off the boat, Virginia supplies the crew with animal masks, which she calls fashion statements.
When they approach the stash house, Roller and Uncle Daddy head one way with Desna leading the ladies to another. Before they split up, Roller hands Desna a gun.
Zlata makes a surprise trip to the shop.
Back at the shop, Jen’s handing a client when Zlata arrives. She kicks out Jenn’s client and asks about Desna. Jenn and Poly lie, saying she’s out having her wedding dress altered.
Zlata tells the ladies she closed the shop to treat three of her coke cutters. She asks Jenn if this is okay to do.
“No. I love helping people who paralyze my husband.” – Jenn
Zlata then sits down at Jenn’s station for Jenn to work on her nails.
Ann, Desna and Virginia are sneaking around the gang’s warehouse. They make it to the warehouse door, and walk inside.
Zlata’s talking to Jenn and Jenn gets angry listening to Zlata talk about the shooting. She tells Jenn that Bryce will be back to work in no time.
Jenn nicks Zlata’s hand and Zlata grabs her in return. Poly notices and turns on music and has Jenn head to the back. Once in the office, Poly warns Jenn not to retaliate at this point.
But Jenn tells Poly that she wants to kill Zlata and Bryce has surgery. Despite this, Poly tells her to keep her cool and do Zlata’s nails.
Uncle Daddy changes the plans.
Desna makes it into the room where Greg’s gang holds their c*caine to douce the place with gasoline. They get nervous when they hear gunshots and almost shoot Uncle Daddy as they enter the room.
As Desna tells them to douse everything, Uncle Daddy tells them to keep the c*caine. This frustrates Ann, seemingly pushing her over the edge. Desna says they’re supposed to douse it.
“Well I’m from the south. You burn crosses and matches after you take a s***.” – Uncle Daddy
“He’s right. Burning’s bad business.” – Roller
“If we wanna take this people down, we need some leverage.” – Uncle Daddy
Desna realizes they’re right, despite Ann’s strong disagreement, and tells them to pack up the c*caine.
“You are not in charge Ann. Shut up and pack it!” – Desna
As they pack up the cocaine and leave, Greg’s men find them and a shootout ensues. Desna and the girls escape unharmed, but Uncle Daddy takes a shot to the shoulder.
Greg’s celebrating with his other Haitians and gets a phone call that men broke in their warehouse and stole their product.
Ann’s still angry about the change of plans, noting that Uncle Daddy’s gonna make them sell the coke.
Uncle Daddy tells Roller the last time he got shot was when he held up a 7-11 with Roller’s father.
Jennifer contemplates killing Zlata.
Zlata tries to smooth things over with Jenn. So she hands her stacks of money to pay for the medical bills incurred from Bryce’s recovery. She reluctantly takes the money from Zlata.
Suddenly the power goes out in the shop as a thunderstorm comes through. Suddenly, the older ladies Zlata brought in appear to recite a poem to her, trying to motivate Jenn to kill Zlata.
Jenn grabs a sharp tool to stab Zlata, but Zlata appears as Jenn to herself, warning herself not to complete the deed.
“You kill me, you become me.” – Zlata
The storm passes, power’s restored to the shop and everything snaps back to normal.
Ann walks out on Desna.
When they get back to the salon, Desna agrees to store the coke there for the night. This causes another argument between Desna and Ann. Ann quits on Desna, storming out of the salon. This shocks everyone else, who thought they weren’t getting into the coke business.
“Calm your t*ts. We ain’t trying to turn you into runners. You can barely run a nail salon.” – Uncle Daddy
Desna tells Jenn to head to the hospital to be with Bryce.
Zlata heads to the warehouse and Greg tells Zlata that 250 kilos of coke were stolen. He suspects Clay or Zlata’s organization stole the drugs and killed his men.
Zlata promises her organization didn’t steal the drugs.
Desna learns the truth behind Greg’s sinister plans for her.
Back the salon, Uncle Daddy’s getting patched up and Desna’s angry. She tells them she’s angry because Ann walked out on them over the change of plans.
She also wonders why Greg and Zlata came for her. Clay, who’s sipping Hennessy explains to Desna that they want her because she has a license to open and run clinics.
“Besides having a cash business to smurf and you have a clean record.” – Uncle Daddy
He also tells her that she inadvertently signed the paperwork to have the license and Greg can get the license, once Desna’s dead.
This angers Desna to no end, knowing that Greg’s likely to kill her, and kicks Uncle Daddy and Roller out of the shop with the drugs. For good measure, Desna smacks Uncle Daddy on the shoulder wound.
Meanwhile, Ann calls Arlene while she’s in the van looking to talk. At this point, Ken stops by to give the detective their wire back.
“I have two words for you; water boarding.” – Ken
Greg surprises Desna at the shop.
At the salon, Desna’s reeling about Uncle Daddy’s revelation about Greg’s plan. She’s crying her eyes out as Poly consoles her. Poly tells Desna to stick to the plan and keep Greg and Zlata thinking they have nothing to do with the robbery.
Greg surprises the ladies at the shop when he comes in. It’s their night they usually spend the night together. Desna snaps back into her role, heading out with Greg as Poly and Virginia close up the shop.
When Desna and Greg are at his place making out, Desna suggests to Greg that they refrain from s*x until their wedding night.
Greg agrees to the idea when Desna says it’ll make their honeymoon special.
Arlene makes it back to her place in her security costume, and Ann breaks down to her.
“I work with some s****y people who’s done some s****y things and I gotta get out of there.” – Ann
Desna comes up with a plan.
The next morning, Desna heads downstairs and hears Greg talking the phone to one of his men. Greg tells the man to question any survivors and to look into all of the Russians to find out who did this.
When the call ends, Desna walks into the kitchen. She tells Greg that she needs to help Dean deal with a lizard. When she walks out, she calls Roller with an idea to plant drugs on the Russians.
They meet up and Roller reluctantly agrees. He also reveals that his son isn’t actually his. Desna grabs his chin and promises they will get the revenge they deserve.
So he heads to Boris’ apartment to plant the drugs in the kitchen pantry. When he leaves, he sends a text to Ruval about where his drugs could be found.
He then texts Desna as Dean and Virginia walk into the shop. Dean wanted to bring her breakfast. While there, Desna shares good news with Dean.
“Things are about to change for us. All that bad road is gonna be behind us.” – Desna
Dean and Desna decide to end their day early and head down to the beach to fly kites.
Jenn sees Bryce as he heads into surgery. She shows him the money Zlata gave them. Bryce smiles as he’s pulled into surgery.
Boris is working out in his place boiling water when Greg arrives with his goons. Greg storms in, kicking in the door and grabbing Boris. They find the drugs in the pantry and Greg sticks Boris’ head into the pot of boiling water and then snaps his neck. As they walk out, Greg pours Mac and cheese mix onto Boris’ body.
The episode ends when Dean and Desna are walking out the house. Arlene and Lucy pull up and arrest Desna for money laundering and fraud. When they speed off with Desna handcuffed in the backseat, Dean runs after them in tears, yelling out for Desna.
Tears roll down Desna’s cheeks.
