Back in January 2018, Alexis Skyy gave birth to her daughter Alaiya Grace in Atlanta, Georgia. Fetty Wap also appeared at the hospital as Alexis gave birth, as many speculated if Alaiya was his daughter.
As the months passed, Fetty and Alexis haven’t been interacting, fueling speculation about the paternity of Alaiya. Alexis called out Fetty for not being around as a father to Alaiya a few weeks after giving birth, as Alaiya remained in the hospital. She remained due to complications from being born prematurely.
As the speculation grew about Alexis and Fetty Wap, people continued to openly criticize Alexis on this, and how she made money. This led to Alexis pondering taking her own life. Luckily, this never happened but, the speculation of Fetty Wap being Alaiya’s dad continued.
Recently, a rumored Facebook post from Fetty Wap openly showed Fetty not claiming Alaiya. He said he only had 5 children, naming each one, and Alaiya wasn’t named. Alexis caught wind of this Facebook post, and after an appearance on “Sister Circle,” she hopped on Instagram Live, responding to the rumors. She said Fetty’s been avoiding taking a DNA test to determine paternity for months.
In the video, Alexis said the following while feeding Alaiya:
First of all, Fetty can come take this DNA test. That’s what I’m waiting for, so that answers all y’all mother***Ing questions. If that’s what y’all want know, he can come take the test. That’s what I’ve been waiting for. I’ve been asking him to take the test for the past two months, period. Until then, I am her mother and her father.
She then posted a message to her Instagram story, telling his fans and her critics to leave the topic alone. She wants people to mind their business and that Alaiya is being taken care of well.
This isn’t the first time Fetty Wap denied being a father. He previously denied being the father of Masika Kalysha’s daughter. Fetty also got called out for not claiming another child, and not being around to see their child. However, this hasn’t stopped Fetty from producing children, as he says he can afford to keep doing so.
