The group discusses Reese’s recent blowup with Cobra.
She explains that Cobra is upset with her for tattooing her client since Cobra was running late.
Don says that Cobra is really sensitive and you have to be careful how you come at her.
Reese then tells them that Cobra called her out for stealing pictures from another tattoo artist and claiming the work as her own on social media. Charmaine thinks this is an awful look for the shop.
“That hurts the brand.” – Charmaine
At this point, Reese says she will walk away from the shop if they think her past will harm the business.
Van says that he’s done the same thing in the past when he was just starting out.
“At the end of the day, this world couldn’t move forward if it wasn’t for second chances.” – Don
The gang tells Reese that they aren’t judging her and want her to stick around.
Cobra then comes to the shop and Reese asks if they can talk things out. Reese says she respects Cobra and wants them to be able to work together. But Cobra says that she now wonders what else Reese is hiding. She doesn’t feel like she knows Reese and she’s not feeling her past.
Despite this, Cobra says she may have just snapped because she was in pain from tooth surgery. Cobra challenges Reese to prove that she has real skills. Reese wants to prove herself by tattooing Cobra. Cobra accepts the challenge. If Cobra doesn’t like it, she says she’s going to beat up Reese.
They go to the back so Reese can tattoo Cobra.
She gets a tattoo of a lighthouse with flowers and she ends up loving it. Cobra apologizes to Reese for going off on her.
This makes Reese happy.
Adriana wants the truth out.
Back at the new 9Mag, the contractor tells Ryan he needs more money to get things looking good.
Ryan feels like the shop is beginning to get too expensive but he knows it has to happen. He gets a call from Adriana and she says she’s there to talk.
In a green screen interview, Ryan says a lot of accusations are being made about Junior and he wants to get to the bottom of things.
Adriana says that she’s been stressed out and she’s upset that Lily and Reese are claiming Junior hit Reese.
“They’re f*cking liars.” – Adriana
She says that she was the one who hit Reese and he would never hurt a woman. Ryan says he knows it’s not true because no one even saw it happen.
Feeling like she has to do something about it, Adriana says she wants to confront Lily and Reese.
Ryan understands how she feels because Junior can’t come back to 9Mag because of the claims. So Junior’s name and reputation must be vindicated so he can return to work.
Charmaine still wants to have a baby with Neek.
They meet for dinner and Neek arrives to the restaurant with their dog in a stroller.
She’s not amused.
He wanted to remind her that he got her the dog. He also wants her to prove that she can be a mother and take care of the dog.
Neek admits that he’s not ready to have a baby. His parents are from the Caribbean and strict. Marriage has to come first or his parents will not be pleased.
While Charmaine does understand this, she wants Neek to propose. Neek wants both of them to meet each other’s parents and see where things go.
Bella gets some support.
Ryan’s friend Brittney comes by to the shop because he wants her to possibly become the shop’s new manager. She has many years of experience in the industry.
When she walks in, he shows her what his vision is.
Bella walks in with her daughter.
She tells Ryan that her mom wasn’t available to babysit. He tells her that it’s not a big deal that she brought her daughter to work. Bella says that her daughter’s dad is a deadbeat and always has excuses for why he’s not around.
This stresses Bella out and she wants to give up sometimes. Ryan and Brittney take her outside and she breaks down crying. Ryan explains that she will have support from him and others. He’s sure they can figure everything out. His kids come first so he understands what she’s going through.
Don wants to hear what Adriana has to say.
Ryan goes by Don’s place.
They discuss the drama that went down in Jamaica. Ryan says that Junior feels like his reputation is on the line. The accusations are serious and it’s been stressful for Junior and Adriana.
Don feels both Lily and Junior are responsible for things going left.
He also did not see Junior hit Reese. But he believes something happened. He doesn’t feel Reese would make something like that up.
And with Reese being a woman, Ryan and Don understand that people want to be there for her and believe what she says. So Don tells Ryan to tell Adriana to talk to him at the shop.
Charmaine and Neek meet the parents.
They have been together for two years and they have never met each other’s parents.
Not too long after, Charmaine’s parents arrive. Charmaine’s parents stress that it’s weird they are just meeting Neek.
Neek’s mother arrives and tells Neek that Charmaine needs to pull her shirt up because her boobs are exposed.
This makes Charmaine embarrassed. None of the parents are happy about the couple’s living arrangement.
“Neek, now you know I raised you better than this.” – Neek’s mother
His mother says that this is wrong and he’s supposed to be a Christian.
The hibachi chef comes out to prepare their food in front of them and Neek’s mom begins to somewhat warm up to Charmaine.
She stresses that they should be looking into marriage if they are living together.
Charmaine’s mother appreciates this. She wants to hear future plans as well.
“You want my daughter. My daughter is supposed to be married.” – Charmaine’s father
At this point, Charmaine admits she got on bended knee and proposed to Neek but he said no. This frustrates Charmaine’s father and Neek says he said no because he wanted to be the one to propose. Her dad gets up to leave after Charmaine says she’s not focused on marriage anymore and just wants a baby.
Her parents storm out the restaurant.
Adriana makes her appearance at Loyal Ink to clear Junior’s name.
She walks in and tells everyone they need to talk.
After Reese says that Junior punched in the face twice, Adriana says she was the one who hit Reese.
They aren’t buying this and say she’s just trying to protect Junior. Reese even says Junior looked her in the face, punched her and called her a b*tch.
But producers then step in and playback the scene to Lily, Charmaine, Don, Ryan, Phor and Van in their green screen interviews.
The footage shows that Junior didn’t hit Reese, and it was actually Ryan who accidentally tapped Reese on the back while separating Adriana and everyone else.
Reese thought Junior hit her in the back and then proceeded to say he punched her three times in the face.
Everyone admits after watching the video in the green screen interviews that Junior is innocent.
Interestingly enough, Reese is the only one who refused to watch the footage.
She tells Adriana she knows he hit her and she never wants to see him again.
Don is angry and feels they are having problems because Lily once again couldn’t keep her hands to herself. Outside, Adriana and Don talk about his text message conversation with Junior.
Adriana wants to know why he’s been showing support to Junior behind Loyal Ink’s back.
As a result, Lily asks why Don is defending Junior and he says he’s not and they are still friends. He also tells Lily that she wasn’t right for running up on Adriana and Junior. She did it with Charmaine and Danielle as well. It started with Junior’s words and went further because of Lily’s hands.
This angers Lily and she decides to leave.
“F*ck Don, Loyal Ink and anybody who didn’t have my back.” – Lily
Reese gets in the car with Lily and they drive off.
