Donna gives everyone an update on Alex.

She tells the gang he’s still not talking to her. When Tokie appears, Donna gets irritated and storms off. She refuses to be around Tokie because she’s Jadah’s replacement.

In other news, Cease says he’s taking everyone to the water park for a weekend retreat. He believes they all need some team building.

Kit reminds Cease that their past team building getaways have been messy.

Jadah confides in Donna.

When she gets to Donna’s place, she emotionally tells her what happened at the Puerto Rican Parade in Rochester.

She says her cousin was shot at the event. So she’s still in shock about what happened. He’s still in the hospital and Jadah is praying that he pulls through.

Both Donna and Jadah break down in tears. Donna hugs her.

“It could have been me.” – Jadah

With Jadah being pregnant, she realizes that she could have lost everything in seconds.

Donna offers to skip the retreat to be with Jadah but Jadah tells her she’ll be okay. They hug again.

It’s the day of the team building trip.

Alex still isn’t speaking to Donna.

Sky is supposed to be the lead coordinator of all the events. She hands out headbands.

The rain begins as the group is on the bus heading to the water park.

So Sky tells everyone to say one thing they want to change in the shop to make things better. Donna says they need to hire Jadah back.

This annoys Tokie.

Alex shades Donna and says people should stop being sneaky.

Bae stays behind to care for her son.

She tells Rod that she called her mom to come to New York to help out for a few months.

Rod is disappointed Bae didn’t talk to him about this first. But he agrees they do need the help.

Back at the retreat, one of the first exercises is tossing an axe at a target.

During the exercise, Jadah calls Donna. She decides to text Donna the address to the house so Jadah can pop up at the team building weekend.

When Alex throws his axe a couple of times, he says the exercise symbolizes letting go of Donna.

“F*ck this.” – Donna

She walks away.

Annoyed with Alex’s passive aggressiveness, Donna attempts to sweeten the mood.

So she lights up some candles to surprise him. But Alex tells her that he’s disappointed that she didn’t tell him she had been in touch with Moe.

Donna also promises that she won’t keep secrets from Alex again. He forgives her and they kiss.

They also decide to get matching tattoos of t-bone steaks since Donna cooked him a t-bone steak on their first date.

Young Bae arrives to the airport to pick up her mom.

Both are excited when they see each other. Bae tells her she wants to show her around the city. In a green screen interview, Bae says that she hasn’t told her mom that Rob is not Korean.

She’s not thrilled that her mother says she’s gotten fat.

Realizing that things could get messy when her mom meets Rod, Bae can only hope for the best.

Before the group can start a game of Beer Pong, Jadah pops up at the house.

This upsets Teddy and he immediately calls her out.

“What the f*ck is wrong with you? We been told you you’re fired!” – Teddy

Jadah starts crying.

She tells them what happened at the parade. Upon hearing this, Teddy says he feels awful. He then hugs her.

“I’m from the hood, so I know how that feels.” – Teddy

Everyone consoles her.

Young Bae’s mom meets Rod.

When Bae’s mom gets to her place, she doesn’t even complain that Rob isn’t Korean. She’s more concerned that he has his sneakers around the baby.

This is surprising from Bae but she’s thankful that things didn’t go left.

Her mother is ready to look after her new grandson.

Tokie has a breakdown.

Back at the Team Building retreat, everyone is getting along well.

While at the pool, Tokie gets a phone call and starts crying.

She says the person who touched her just called her and she didn’t answer.

Tokie then gets belligerent and screams that she want to go home.

Confused as to what’s going on, she starts rambling. Eventually she ends up arguing with Tati and Donna.

Since Donna wants to fight her anyway, she tells Tokie to run up. At this point, Sky tries to run back in the house to tell Donna not to fight Tokie because she’s having a breakdown.

Luckily, security intervenes and stops Donna and Tokie from assaulting each other.

Security then escorts Tokie outside, where she continues to yell about being abused. Melody follows her outside and tells her she was raped too.

This calms down Tokie and Melody says that Tokie doesn’t have to be ashamed about what happened to her because it makes her a warrior.

Both then share a hug.
