Juelz Santana will be behind bars for 27 months.
According to TMZ, the rapper was sentenced early this morning by a judge in Newark, New Jersey.
He will also be under supervised release for 12 months after he completes his sentence.
As far as when Juelz begins his sentence, no date has been set yet on when he will have to surrender.
We reported that Juelz got caught up back in March at the Newark International Airport. He had a loaded .38 caliber handgun. Plus, it was reported that he also had eight oxycodone pills in his bag as well.
On LHHNY, Juelz claimed he was so high at the time he had no idea the gun was in his bag. Regardless, he ended up rushing out of the airport, but later turned himself in to police.
In related news, Juelz and Kimbella are engaged. Some suspect they may tie the knot before Juelz goes off to prison.
